I loved this cross stitch. I had so much fun working on it. It was very time consuming! Took me months to complete but loved the overall finished product. I framed it in a 16x16 gold frame to go in my daughters Harry Potter themed room. Awesome cross stitch kit! 10/10

I love anything Harry Potter so when I saw this, I gotta have it. I have been cross stitching for a while now so it wasn't a problem for me. The first thing I noticed before I even started was thread # 950 was really short. Sure enough, I ran out. I improvised using my thread # 951. This project took me a month to finish. The only thing that bothered me was some threads knot so easily, but having some experience, it didn't stop me. The chart is easy to read and follow. This is the first project I worked on that is color coded. My pattern got wet, but after contacting the seller, they emailed me another the pattern.

This kit comes with a four page pattern, directions, thread key, embroidery floss, needle and fabric. Though it says its beginner friendly the directions are not basic enough to help true beginners. Without a basic sewing/cross stitch knowledge someone would be at a loss as to how to begin. Other than the lackluster directions the rest of the product is lovely. I can't wait to get going!

Fun piece! Only issue I ran into was while doing some of the blue sections. The symbols were a really similar shape and color so it made it a little difficult to distinguish. I did run out of thread and had to get more to finish but I met with the frog a few times so that was expected. Would recommend!

This is a really nice kit, designed and organized very well and comes in a brown paper bag/pouch. You receive more floss/thread than you will need so there is enough room for mistakes and such. The guide is well done and easy to reference. The instructions are a little lacking, but I'm very new to this and had to go to YouTube to figure out how to do some of this. While I'm a beginner, I don't think this is great for beginners, its pretty large and has a lot of stitches, I would have rather started with something smaller and simpler, but I'm doing pretty well, it's really nothing against this kit but a note to any other beginners. I recommend a hoop or q-snap frames just because of the size, but you don't need them. Overall I recommend this kit!

I’m not done yet but it seems like it will be nice. It’s like 20 stitches to short of string so either keep track of what you need or go buy one of each string before you start. It will cost about $10 for one of each string. I have done cross stitch before so I’m not sure if this is for beginners or not.

This was a great kit! It was a lot of fun to do and easy to read. I got it to make as a gift for my friend for her birthday. She loved it!

The pattern was fine and I had plenty of thread, BUT the Aida fabric they sent was only 14x14 inches square. That meant the top and bottom of the stitching was less than an inch from the edge of the material. It made it VERY difficult to keep in the hoop and have any tension while stitching. The material should have been AT LEAST 14x16 inches. I didn't realize until I had spent HOURS working on it. It you purchase it, buy your on fabric and save yourself a lot of aggravation.
