PetArmor Plus Flea and Tick Prevention, Flea and Tick Treatment, Waterproof Topical, Fast Acting, Small Dogs (5-22 lbs), 6 Doses

First off, I have two chihuahuas who have never had fleas but do get plenty of ticks. We have been using another brand all-in-one chewable from our Vet which is very expensive. To save some money we decided to get heart chewable and topical flea and tick. My short hair chihuahua had no issues with the topical at all. It did not bother him to have it applied. My long hair, senior dog had an immediate reaction including retreating to his cage, rolling all over and hyperventilating. As per the instructions on the package, if a dog shows a reaction, bathe them in mild soap and lots of water. We gave him a bath and he was fine after that. I think at least for him, we will switch to the chewable version of the flea and tick prevention.

fleas have been abundant this year , I used this years ago and I apply it frequently right in the grove between the shoulders. it appears to be working notice less scratching and fleas

This is a very good product, and it’s the only flea and tick medication I use for my dog. My dog doesn’t have any hair loss and it doesn’t have any scent or side effects. I find it to be very safe to use .

I like that it’s topical and doesn’t go into dogs bloodstream stays on skin layer. I don’t want to use harsh chemicals but this is the safest one with the least side effects than internal medicines. Best way to keep fleas away is to also use a flea comb daily especially after walks so you can catch any little bugs on your pup. Easy to es on dogs skin within a few hours. I think it wears off in 25 days as I notice my dog itching as we approach the flea med monthly time.

It doesn't g quite last a month. Good product.
