These are a good size to fit smaller aquariums when used for the substrate or smaller filters.The zipper ensures that all loose media stays inside and doesn't end up in the filter propeller, from my experience they are well sown on and there are no loose threads coming out.I like these because the mesh holes are larger so they allow better water flow compared to media bags I bought previously that were a fine mesh and created almost like a balloon effect with the water and air being trapped inside.These are also great to use for easy removal of temporary filter media such as zeolite, carbon or purigen.

The media could not be loaded. Now this won't stop all soil leaching, this is about managing to have the soil mass stay where you want it.The white and black bags are useful, so you can use what blends with your substrate better.Plastic zip so no rust issues either.As you can see in the video, it has helped my plants thrive lovely by ensuring they are bedded into a mass of soil nicely.
