In the past I have slept with memory foam pillows. I like how your head melts into it giving soft support. However, I've never liked how they get hot at night, so I've been on the hunt for something better. I thought I'd try this pillow and.... WOW!!!!!!It has this soft, squishy feel that gives where you want it, and supports where you need it, and it feels cool all night. What is this magic???The grid adds a really different element, in a good way. It adds a soft flexibility that cradles the small contours of your face, head and neck, and I think it's a key reason it stays so cool because the air can keep flowing through all the little channels. My other pillows haven't had it, and it creates this almost air flow layer I've never felt before. The foam beneath the grid is really soft and squishy, and together it creates this soothing comfort that lulls me to sleep and keeps me comfortable all night, even when I shift around to different sleep positions. My daughter loves it too, she calls it the "marshmallow pillow."I like that you can adjust the height too. I like it without any of the additional foam layers as generally I prefer a low pillow to sleep with, but for watching TV I like to add one of the layers for more height. The cover is really innovative, it's like an envelope closure which makes inserting or taking out the height adjusting layers super easy and convenient. LOVE this pillow!!!!

For people looking for a memory foam version of the Purple Pillow, this is it. The purple gel layer is thick...and the foam layer has just a bit of squish to it. Reminds me of a memory foam pillow, but it doesn't trap heat. I have been using the Purple Harmony Tall for about a year. I went through tons of pillows before landing on the Harmony. If this pillow was available when I bought the Harmony, I probably would have bought the Dreamlayer and been happy with it. I'm a side and stomach sleeper. Compared to the Harmony, this pillow is much more firm. I sleep more on top of the Dreamlayer than I do the Harmony. The Harmony has more squish to it...and it's just softer. Both are equally supportive. For side sleeping, I'd say they are both great. But for stomach sleeping, I think the Harmony is better. Better to sink your face into. They are both great pillows, but I just prefer the Harmony. If the Dreamlayer was cheaper, I would have kept it...but for 160 bucks...it didnt beat the Harmony...so I had to return it. The boosters with the Dreamlayer is great so you can get the height you want.

Great support and quality. My husband's seep quality has improved and he is obsessed with this pillow. I think that it was a little bit on the expensive side but he loves the pillow. It always has a cool feel which he is really happy about. It's easy to adjust the pillow to you preferred high preference.

First thier is a return fee. Does not say that when ordering. I use the original Purple pillow and wanted to give this a try. It is comfortable but if you sleep with sound or have the tv on it echos in the pillow and feels like you have a speaker in the pillow. I was not even able to use it for a night b

The pillow really is super comfortable and I would have wanted to keep it, but the chemical smell is overbearing. I’ve washed both covers and let the pillow sit out for 2 weeks and it still smells. The case is also very small and fragile so when you wash it, it’s very difficult to get back in the case. Overall, it’s very comfortable, but the smell and small case openings might be too much for me to keep this. I am going to keep it for a couple more weeks to see if it goes away, but I’m having doubts.

for 170 this pillow is garbage. the filler pillows are an inch two small so they move and shift while you sleep
