Great boot, runs small
I sized up a half-size based on reviews (I typically wear size 8 and ordered 8 1/2) and they fit fine with thin socks. They may be a bit tight with thicker socks, however, they are very warm, so I may not need the thicker socks. I wore them out in the rain today and they were very warm, comfortable and waterproof. They look nicer than typical rain/snow boots. They are not too wide in the leg, but definitely wide enough. I have slim calves so I try to find boots that aren't extra wide at the top. Overall, great boot so far.

Doesn't keep my feet warm enough.
I read all the reviews pertaining to this boot before purchasing. I was looking for warmth, water proof and comfort. They are definitely true to size. I have always worn a size 7 without fail and they fit perfectly. They don't keep my feet warm in the cold weather and haven't tried them in snow yet. This may very well be because I didn't buy them larger thinking they would be warm without having to add thick socks. As it is my toe is squished now when I wear thick socks and this makes my feet colder. It also makes them not as comfortable to wear for too long at a time. You may want to keep this in mind when you order your size. At least a half size or full size. The material on the actual shoe part of the boot is very thin and the first day I wore them I must have bumped something because I had a couple knicks out of the material. It is bright white underneath so I used a black magic marker to mask the color. I am used to wearing leather and thought I would give the synthetic a try. My mistake. So far they have been waterproof. That is impressive. They are cute and have the perfect size heel. The tread on them is nice but don't let it fool you. I slipped on ice with these on and my feet flew out from under me and I fell flat on my back. I walk more carefully now. I use a different boot when wearing my spikes for ice as I don't think these are durable enough to handle them. Let me rephrase that. The boot seems durable enough. The outer skin on the boot itself is not durable. The upper, leg part of the boot is really nice though. It's soft and has a kind of suede look and feel to it. I am very pleased with this part. The calf is big enough to tuck your pants in and still be comfy. The synthetic fur in the leg is great and keeps that part of my body warm. It hasn't flattened down either like some synthetic fur does and I have worn them a number of times. Nice and tall too. I am only 5'2" and these come up a couple inches from my knee. I do get compliments on this boot.I hope all this helps. If I had of had this info before buying it would have helped me tremendously.

These boots rock!
I waited awhile before reviewing these boots...2 and a half years and they are still going strong! This is my third winter with these boots and I just love them. I have wide calves and feet, but ordered up a size and they fit well. They were immediately comfortable out of the box and feel great even when I wear them all day at work, where I’m on my feet a lot. They are completely waterproof, which is perfect in the slush we get a lot of in the mountains of Northern California. After 2 and a half years they still look and feel terrific. The calves are insulated, but not the foot part. I found some smart wool socks that keep my toes toasty.I’m such a big fan of these boots that I just ordered another pair, just in case they stop making them.

Nice and warm
So nice and warm for cold and snowy days. I was concerned that they would be too warm inside a building, but they’ve been fine. I was also worried they wouldn’t be snug enough around my smallish calf but again, they are just right. My last boots zipper was on the outside of my leg, but this one is on the inside. It feels a little strange, but there’s no problem getting them on or off.

Wanted to LOVE these, but the interior soles deteriorated within a day or two!
I bought these for a two week trip to Ireland. I am from Florida. We don't get much cold, wet weather, so I was looking for something waterproof and warm. On trying these on, I thought they would be perfect for the price so I decided to keep these over the more expensive options I also bought to try out for our two week trip. I will start with the positives. These shoes were a little dressier looking than the other options I'd found that were lined and waterproof. Since I needed a good shoe I could wear for super casual sightseeing days as well as for a nicer dinner out, etc I was happy to find this style. They are warm. I wore them with wool socks, and my feet stayed warm and dry even in the rainy and cool autumn Ireland weather (average temp of our trip was around 45 degrees F if I had to guess, and it rained at least a little most days). These shoes seem to be very waterproof. I wore them all over Ireland during the rainy season, and my feet never got wet (not even on the muddy trek up and down the Cliffs of Moher). The first day of wear I was so excited to keep these on standby for any rainy cool Florida days we may have upon our return home to the states. However, by the second day I noticed my right foot was a bit uncomfortable in these boots. I tried to ignore it, but by day three I had some pretty gnarly blisters on the bottom of my right heel. Apparently there isn't much cushion in the bottoms of these shoes, so the structural part of the shoe bottoms was rubbing on my feet causing blisters. I needed to make these work for another ten days so I bought some shoe gel inserts. I wore my thicker socks along with the inserts for the rest of the trip, and was able to avoid additional blistering. If you are looking for a waterproof option to run to the car and to work, etc these may work. However, if you plan to do any amount of walking (or wearing them for any length of time) in them at all pass these by for something with better support in the bottom. On the bright side, I decided these weren't worth hauling back to the states from Ireland so I left them in our last hotel room. These did wind up doing the job once I found a work around, but I absolutely do not recommend. I would not buy again. Thankfully I got these on deal, and they were only $40, but I have since seen them for upwards of $70. If it weren't for the poor sole construction these would have been a homerun! Improve them a little Totes, and maybe I'll try again! Bummer! Hope this helps you avoid future foot discomfort/blistering!

I already owned a pair from a few years back and wanted a newer pair
Please do go up 1/2 a size if you plan on wearing thicker socks. Unfortunately I had to return them because the boots inside were a size 7W and a 7.5M. I had ordered a 7.5W . SHOE box had the correct size but the actual boots inside were 2 different sizes. This boots are stylish and more for wearing on short trips and not for walking around when it is very cold out.
