It's no secret that I'm an enormous fan of Alexa Riley and their smutty insta-love novellas about over-the-top, totally obsessed, all-alpha males claiming the virgins of their dreams. When they announced that they were launching a series of full-length novels, I was beside myself with glee. Three full-length novels stuffed to capacity with all of that possessive, protective, alpha-male-getting-his-woman goodness? Yes, please. I'll be honest, though, and admit that there was a teeny, tiny part of me that wondered if they could make the transition from novella to full-length novel, so it thrills me to no end to say that that worry wasn't warranted because not only did they make the jump, but they totally nailed it. They did a fantastic job building rich, detailed plots while still packing the pages with all of the safe steaminess their readers have come to love and expect from them.I loved Everything for Her and His Alone, the first two novels in the For Her series, and knowing what this author duo did with those two books, I couldn't wait to see where they were going to take us in Claimed. I anxiously waited for this one to hit my Kindle, and I squealed with smutty, safe-read satisfaction when it finally hit my Kindle. I loved Claimed, I loved Jordan, I loved Jay, I loved them together in all their awkward, nerdy, virginal glory. There was plenty of the obsessed, protective, possessive, growling hot guy stuff that we all want in an Alexa Riley story, and they paired that hottie hero with a fierce little powerhouse of a heroine who was also funny, quirky, a little bit clueless and kind of clumsy. Stuck in the friend zone, I loved how they maneuvered from professional pals to a romantic relationship. Their sweet, sexy romance wasn't the only thing happening here, though. There was also an intriguing and exciting suspense plot that held my interest just as much as Jordan and Jay's budding relationship did.Claimed was everything I hoped—and more than I anticipated—it would be. It was charming, romantic and steamy with an abundance of the Alexa Riley style of alpha fixation that we readers have come to crave insatiably. Fantastic side characters and a good dose of humor take this from a really good story to three hundred pages of pure escapism reading pleasure. With three fantastic full-length novels under their belts, I am praying to the smut gods that in addition to their addictively naughty novellas, we'll see more novel length stories from them in the future. I am a huge fan of Alexa Riley. I love their stories. They are a bit over-the-top, but its what makes them great reads to get lost in. The man a very over protective and possessive, but seriously, who would not love even a little bit of that! In Claimed, we get the next For Her story and this time, it’s Jordan Chen’s turn!Jordan is a part of the Osbourne Corporation security team. He is a man who protects and watches from a distance. That is until he meets Jay Rose. Something about her pulls at him. Jay is all about work. She keeps people at a distance and it works for her. That is until she meets Jordan.Jordan has watched Jay from a distance, but since the day he met her, he was determined to have more with her. As he befriends Jay, she is surprised by his attention, but not enough to keep him at a distance. The sparks fly as they get to know each other. But when Jay is threatened, Jordan realizes he will do anything to protect Jay.I have loved all of Alexa Riley’s quick and steamy romances, but their fuller length novels do provide that and so much more! I loved how protective Jordan was of Jay. We have the insta-love as their novels tend to have, but we also get a bit of angst and suspense as well. And the bet part? We get to see some old friends as well! Another great read from Alexa Riley!Happy reading!

Alexa Riley is the go to writing duo when I’m looking for something short and with scorching heat ‘Claimed’ fits the bill ...The fact is it’s a bit formulaic as It’s a signature friends-to-lovers insta- love romance but that’s what I like about it.This is actually the third story in the “For Her” series and they are all intertwined so we get moments with the previous characters too which is nice however, this is mostly Jordan and Jay’s story and can be totally read as stand alone.Jordan falls hard and fast for Jay and she’s it for him. Once he’s found the one he’s all in, and completely addicted to his lady.Jay is the PA for Miles at the Osbourne Corporation. She is very dedicated to her job and is very much in control of her life. When she meets Jordan for the first time there is an instant spark. However as Jordan works in security for the Osbourne Corporation he is biding his time until he makes his move as they work together.Together this couple were so sweet and charming. Their chemistry was steaming and their possessiveness in regards to each other was equal...“You make me feel like your whole world. You let everything go and fall into me.”While the mystery might not have been all that mysterious, it added depth to what was a very easy, enjoyable read. However at the price I would understand if others felt it was a little expensive and not worth it...

This was a pleasant surprise for me. I loved it! Nice easy sexy read.

I've read books with obsessive alpha males etc. but there is something about this book that I found really uncomfortable - it didn't make for a pleasurable afternoon read and I found myself stopping before I got half way through. Plot was generally unengaging and I felt in some ways this book was very similar to what has come before, from Riley in regards to this series - at least when it comes to the stalkerish tendencies and general charcateristics of the male leads but the manner in which such tendencies are framed is for me problematic, especially in this book..

This is the third book in this series and I can honestly say it was worth the wait.We return to Osbourne Corp and catch a few glimpses of the previous characters and how things shaped up with them but this story is all about Jordan and Jay.Jordan works within the security department and watches how in love Paige and the Captain are and cannot help but want what they have. The main focus in his life is work and the dad he dotes on. That is until he meets Jay, from the moment their eyes meet he knows he’s found the one. She’s his forever but not wanting to scare her away he becomes her friend while she becomes his obsession. Finally deciding its time to leave the friend zone, he realises it’s time to make his move.Jay is Miles assistant and his rock when it comes to getting things done. Not having the most responsible parents and a flighty sister she has learned to take care of herself. Her work is her life and never thinks anyone could ever see her as anything other than a nerdy bookworm, and is totally taken aback when Jordan makes it clear he wants more than friendship from her, it’s like her dreams have come true. Of course things can never go that smoothly and Jay is in danger. There is nothing that Jordan won’t do to protect what is his.There is nothing bad about this story and has everything you could want in a book, sassy independent woman, hot possessive alpha hero, love, laughter, intrigue and a lot of hot scenes. These two characters fall for each other hard and fast after the initial slow burn. Brilliant addition to the series. I’m hoping there are more to come and would love Summer to have a happy ending too.
