Great Product & Phenomenal Customer Service
We purchased both the system as well as an additional collar to contain two large Pyrenees dogs on a large calf operation that is next to a busy road. The system and GPS fence has worked really well for our needs. The puppies/dogs are a bit rowdy and with lots of play and swimming in the pond on the property the collars have held up really well (surprisingly!).I am not extremely tech savvy, so it took me a bit to really learn how to use the system, set up the GPS fence, etc. however once learned it was quite easy to operate. The manual that the system comes with is helpful and was used quite a bit in the beginning.I recently experienced an issue with one collar not acquiring a GPS signal (after 8 months of rough puppy/dog life) and the tech support I experienced for the company was amazing. They issued a full replacement with no hassle. (but be sure to keep a copy of your receipt that proves you bought the item with "Condition: new".I strongly recommend this for anyone looking to contain your dogs to a small or large property.

The most expensive piece of crap you'll ever buy
Total garbage. Collar constantly gets disconnected. Batteries do not hold a charge well. Company that makes it does not care. Buy a petsafe for half the price and chase your dogs half as often.

Worked great for me.
Read all the reviews before I got this and was hoping the positives were more correct than the negatives. So far, they are. I did get a collar with a more robust antenna than in the picture and it has survived dog rough housing/play as well as diving through fences. I think most of the negative reports are because people did not read the instructions as well as follow them, and did not spend some time thinking about setting up the center point of the boundary area for the fence. I picked a center point and then walked out to where I wanted the boundary and when it wasn't what I wanted I re-did it. Yes, a circle is not how we think, and I also think this is much better for larger areas. I like how I can turn off the fence but still have the collar on to work my dog allowing her to leave the area without punishment, then turn it back on so I can find her rough whereabouts. I am using on a cattle ranch on my cattle dog so that gives you an idea of the area I am working with.

Don’t buy.
These collars are awful. They don’t hold a charge. And hardly work.

Not an exact border like invisible fence
Our dog can now be contained on 10 acres. It was difficult to set the exterior flags as the gps signal wasn’t consistant. It is give or take 3 yards or so. Our dog is an exceptionally fast and powerful animal so the lag is not ideal. Range is good. Battey charge is good. Just plug them in at night. Set up was mostly intuitive and manual was easy to follow. It could be easier to sync the collar with monitor. Sometimes I see the paw sign (the paw represents the collar location when activated) on the monitor but the monitor doesn’t detect the collar? Overall, I’m happy to have this type of system as an option for my dog. I like that you can set a buffer zone/warning zone and choose either vibrate, nick, or beep before he crosses the “line”. I also like that, theoretically, the collar will shock for a designated distance past the line but only for a limited period of time and that he will not get shocked again when coming home.We have flat land with one house and one barn.

Almost but not there yet
This is a great idea for dog containment but falls a little short. The containment field is only a circle. So if your yard is anything other than a square you will not get all the coverage you want. It would be better if you could set up virtual corner posts and let the computer "connect the dots" to create a boundary. Or make several pin drops with overlapping circular coverage, like a lawn sprinkler system. Then the containment area could fit whatever area you need.Second you can only have one "fence". The device can not save several different fence area so you have to reset each time you go to a different property, if you want to use it for several properties. It also prevents you from using several coverage areas on the same property to create the lawn sprinkler effect. It is not hard to set up but would be a lot easier if it could save 10 "fences".My property is a rectangle and I could not enclose my yard properly without expanding my containment zone into my neighbors yard. Because of my property shape, I can cover the back yard or the garage, but not both at the same time. Also, the variance in border oscillates by about 15 feet. When dealing with a zone of 40 yards, it was to much of a swing. Sometimes it's into the road, sometimes it's way short. For larger properties this would work perfectly. For a half acre property in the suburbs, it's not accurate enough.Hopefully next generation will fix the flaws.

Well worth the money
We purchased this system almost 4 years ago. We love the system and the batteries are just now starting to weaken. We live in the country with plenty of hills and trees. We set the distance at 120 yards which is as far as the dogs can go without getting on the county road. We have never used the shock feature and the dogs respect the vibration setting. So, the system is durable and the batteries are good for years. They advertise the batteries to stay charged for 12 hours but it's actually longer than that.
