A: Yes and the recommended dose is absurdly large.  Start out with 50mg which is 1mg of yohimbine.

### ⭐ Dangerous--even at a VERY low dosage!

I’m 7 hours into a very low dose (110mg) of Bulk Supplements Yohimbe Bark Extract (YBE) that’s finally wearing off and not a minute too soon! I’m an otherwise repeat purchaser of Bulk Supplements products for the past few years and I will continue to purchase those other items from them, BUT NOT THIS ONE! Its unsafe even at very low doses that are well less than half of what its label recommends (250mg). I believe that 250mg dose would have easily killed me and done so within a very scary hour or two! That said, I’m not overly sensitive to non-pharmaceutical stimulants. For example, the caffeine in three full 10 ounce cups of strong coffee consumed within a 30 minute period has zero noticeable effect on me, zero that is unless I’ve had no caffeine for at least the prior 3 days. In fact, that’s why I bought this product—I’m looking for a caffeine substitute. BTW, I’m also in very good health. My specific physical reactions to YBE : my resting heart rate, normally about 55 BPM(beats per minute), shot up to 73; worse, my resting BP(blood pressure), normally 110/74, shot up to 144/90; worst of all my heart was pounding fairly hard if I so much as walked 50 feet, but bear in mind, I was seated or lying down 99.9% of the time throughout this entire 7 hours--I didn't feel I could be active without it forcing my already high physical reaction into dangerously higher levels of BP and heart rate. The reason I started with such a low dose was in order to avoid the dosage warnings by about half of the many other consumer reviewers here. I anticipated that this first dose at 110mg would have zero effect on me--that I wouldn’t feel it at all. Instead, after 30 minutes, I began to notice something. After 50 minutes the full effect kicked in and stayed that way for over 4 hours. It’s now been 7 hours since I took this (just over 6 hours since its full effect started) and its effects have lasted until just the past hour when it finally began to reduce its effects and my BP has now lowered and is 90% of normal; my heart rate is near normal too, and my heart doesn’t pound when I simply walk around a little now. The entire effect & feeling with this extract was simply the concern caused by not knowing if these big physical changes were going to keep increasing or not (I mean, I was sitting still yet I had a sustained physical response like I was constantly very active), but within that first hour after it took effect it seemed clear that its effects weren't going to keep increasing--still it remained an uncomfortable having to endure such increased BP and heart rate--not to mention that YBE also caused me to sweat a little in my hand, and this sweat was physical--no caused by an emotional reaction at all; in other words, the YBE didn't directly (chemically) cause any anxiousness. But, you might ask, were there no other effects at all? No. There was zero increase in energy, no positive change in mood. I’ll never intentionally take this again, but if you try it, assume you're sensitive to it and so be sure to start with a very low dosage that you believe will have zero effect, and then only try a slightly increased dose the next day. Eventually you might find an acceptably low dose for this stuff, but why bother? Walking briskly around the block or on a treadmill will cause the sames changes without this chemical stimulant stressing your body for several hours. And regarding the Viagra-like sexual performance response that some reportedly hope to get from taking this, I didn't notice anything like that, though I wasn't considering that in the first place so I guess I'm not the best judge. If you overdose on this, call for help IMMEDIATELY and see a real medical doctor (solving this problem involves medical chemistry expertise). Do NOT wait to pass out or have a heart attack because then you might only have minutes to live--also, while you wait for help, swallow some quickly digested carbohydrates (ideally table sugar, or less ideally plain bread or plain cooked pasta--don't add anything to them that slows down ingestion much) because carbs for most (not all) people can counteract the increase in neurotransmitters which is at the center of the problem, but you MUST call for help first!
