However, I am much happier using a little more elbow grease with a more natural product than using a product full of chemicals. My mother used to say, "If I can't buy the ingredient listed on a product in my local store, then it is probably something that I shouldn't be using anyway." Kind of my thoughts exactly. **Q: does it kill stuff like flu virus?** A: I saw an episode of Cook's Country on PBS where they tested this cleaner as well as some anti-bacterial cleaners. Their results showed that this plant-based cleaner did not kill 100% of germs, but did wipe out the vast majority of them, at least in the mid-nintieth percentile, I believe. **Q: Dystopiandoll said she adds thieves oil or on guard to help kill germs. i wonder how many drops per bottle of cleaner?** A: Honestly, I would not recommend this. First, the method advertises to kill 99.9% of germs, as do most other cleaners, natural or not. Adding some sort of oil isn't going to make it more effective - if anything, it might make it less effective. That's not some sort of super-scientific opinion - but then again, there's no real science backing up the use of these oils, either. I have found these Method products to be SUPERB, and if anything, my family gets ill far less often than we used to. Since I quit trying to "kill every germ" and went more natural with my cleaning (although I still clean every surface quite frequently) I notice improvements in all areas of our health, which should be expected since we aren't meant to live with all these harsh chemicals. Your body needs to build immunity. Just my two cents. **Q: Does it disinfect?** A: No this dosn't... BUT, it is a really great product, I have a bottle in the kitchen and each bathroom, I also keep a spray bottle of the Clorox cleanup next to it in kitchen for disinfectant if needed ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ wow *by N***K on April 5, 2023* I'll be honest, I really didn't think I was gonna like the sent but I actually really like it, lol, it smells like a really gorgeous guy walked thru the place... I read another review and the person did not like the scent, but we love it. Very clean and pleasant. In our house, we like to have a bottle of cleaner in each restroom and the kitchen at all times, just in case. This does the trick. ## Frequently Bought Together - Method All Purpose Cleaner, Lime + Sea Salt, 28 Fl Oz (Pack of 8), Eco-Friendly Multi-Surface Cleaning Spray - Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner, Max Strength Bathroom Cleaning Supplies, Toilet Bowl Cleaner Clinging Gel, Home Essential, Instant Stain Removal, Disinfecting and Deodorizing, Bleach Free, 24 oz (9 ct) - Method All-Purpose Cleaner Spray, French Lavender, Plant-Based and Biodegradable Formula Perfect for Most Counters, Tiles and More, 28 Fl Oz, (Pack of 8) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/60207550-all-purpose-cleaner-lime-sea-salt-28-fl-oz-8](https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/60207550-all-purpose-cleaner-lime-sea-salt-28-fl-oz-8) --- *Product available on Desertcart Cyprus* *Store origin: CY* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
