Without this plate mounting the winch is difficult.
The plate is very heavy duty and an invaluable aid to fitting whichever winch is chosen for the job. I used it to great effect on mounting my winch onto my tractor.

Ease of fitting
Ok if you are handy you can cobble something together to do the job, however, using this plate makes fitting the winch easy, it is a well made sturdy bit of kit that saves time and headaches.
