Perfect
Great for cleaning mucky wounds. Need a good absorbent dressing to cover. Wound healed perfectly.

Wonder worker and smells great too.
This stuff is brilliant. My husband got an infection under his nail and had to go to a walk in medical centre. The nurse who cleaned out the infection by lancing and bandaged it up afterwards, used this stuff and gave him the remainder of the tube to use at home. It worked really well at speeding the healing and keeping the area clean. It also smells really lovely, of honey. Not the point, I know! Anyway, we ordered some extra to keep in our first aid tin, we were so impressed.

Very thick, good quality
You can tell this is good quality but its thickness and appearance. It's like a sticky yellow ointment. I used it around my nostrils as had nasal infection. It seemed to do the trick with its antibacterial properties. It smells of medicinal honey, which it is.I agree that the packaging needs improvement, especially the cap. Once twisted off, it can't be screwed back on. I cut an earbud in half and stuck the plastic earbud tube into the open cap entry. That served as a temporary stopper.

Easy To Use 'First Aid' Honey
Helps to keep wounds clean and helps them heal faster, in humans or animals. Hygienic squeezy packaging. Needs to be kept in place with a dressing, does not rub in to skin.

Excellent for skin wound
Purchased as I have an open wound on abdomen with a lot of dressings. Medihoney was the only thing to relieve abd critically heal the broken sore skin under wound dressing. Remember you can request them too under prescription from your NHS doctor. 10/10 cleared my skin quickly. Need to leave medi honey on and open to the air for a good 45/60 mins then wipe off with warm water. Then apply Medihoney barrier cream before reapplying dressing.

Don’t bother
The tubes were practically empty when opened.

Too sticky
I bought this instead of the medi honey cream as I thought it was a gel but is very very sticky and I mess you are covering the wound I would not recommend it.It is a good product to promote healing .
