What’s not to like?
I have had a few Kindles and was looking for something different in a cover when I saw this. Arrived quickly and product was well packaged. The look is of a quality leather that looks a lot better than the price would indicate. Hand strap is convenient although may eventually get stretched out if used often. Inside cover has card slot for hotel key card if you use your Kindle pool side. The openings at the base for turning your device to sleep mode or for charging are cut properly despite what I saw in another review.i had no trouble plugging in my charger with cover on. Overall I have no complaints. The case has a nice soft feel, good quality leather look and the fit is perfect. I would definitely recommend this product based on perceived quality, looks and value.

I am totally pleased with this case
I am totally pleased with this case. Although it is PU leather, I had a hard time differentiating it from the genuine stuff. I really like the classy look and feel. The stylish elastic strap is much more effective than the more common magnetic closures, and it adds a touch of class to the design. The internal hand strap is very comfortable and makes it easy to support the Kindle in my arthritic hands. The way the case holds the Kindle is rather unique. You slide it into the frame from the side and then secure it with a leather tab. The process ensures that the device will never slip or fall out of the case. The case also has an internal card slot and is configured with an easel to allow it to stand on its own. And finally, I am very impressed with customer service. I had a small problem with the first case I received. I emailed the supplier, and they sent another one immediately at no cost. And they told me not to send the first one back, saving me the cost of shipping, This Kindle Paperwhite case really deserves my five stars.

Fits very well and I really like the security of the elastic strap keeping the screen ...
Fits very well and I really like the security of the elastic strap keeping the screen covered. The only minor issue I have is the opening for the charger is just a bit off; and I will need to enlarge the hole so I can charge my Kindle while in the case.

Very well made!
I was worried about this case being too bulky since the Kindle Paperwhite is such a small device but the case fits well and feels great. The leather is soft and padded, and the kickstand adjusts to multiple angles depending on your needs. The auto sleep/wake function also works well. I've been using this case almost daily for several months now, and have no complaints!

Love it or Leave it?
I love the case itself. Rich look and feel; very comfortable to hold. I like the feel of a book in hand, and this gives me a little of that. It has a hand strap, which fits my hand nicely and allows me to easily & comfortably hold the case with just one hand. It also has the stand, which allows hand-free vertical & horizontal reading options, but I haven't used it yet, and here's where I come to my problems with this case. When I close the case, it doesn't seem like it closes securely. I like a tight shut and to know that the light has gone off immediately upon closing, and this one doesn't provide that. I have to push a little on the case until the light does finally go off. This concerns me a bit because I don't like wasting the battery when it's supposed to be off. There is no magnetic closure on this case, and I wish there was, so I have to use the strap if I want it to close it, and even with the strap, it doesn't feel like the cover has shut tightly enough. Without using the strap, it will flop back open so you have to be careful in how you carry it or place it when not in use. It seems like I'm always checking so that I'm sure that it is securely closed and the light is off, which is a hassle. it's just not a snug enough closesure for me. It has the credit card slots, but if I were to actually put credit cards in them, the cover would bulk up so that it would never close tightly enough. That's also why I haven't used the stand, I'm afraid that if I do, I'm afraid it won't lay down flat enough again, and will just cause me to have more problems closing the case. Also, the opening for the on/off switch and charging access is not quite big enough, and I have to be stretch & manipulate it in order to insert the charger. It's a bit annoying to have to do that every time. I hate that I have had these two issues with the case. If it weren't for these problems, I would give this case 5 stars.

Attractive and exceptionally functional
This case is THICK. I dropped my Kindle a couple of days ago on concrete. This case absorbed the shock without a scratch to the case or Kindle. This brown cover case is ATTRACTIVE. This cover has a professional appearance. This is the best case I've ever owned.

I hate this fu#$@&? Thing!!!
I hate this case.I hate it, not because the strap that holds the cover closed overlaps onto the screen so I have to constantly adjust it, it's not just because the stitching frayed as soon as it came in contact with water (even though its supposed to be waterproof!!!) No, I hate it because the stand gets in the way of the strap, making it completely uncomfortable to hold. I don't even need a stand! But, it's the only option that provides you with a hand strap and closed case. The others are just pretty to look at and not much else. I hate these, and I'm pretty sure you'll hate them to.

Well worth the money
It's fake leather, but that doesn't really matter. It fits the Kindle perfectly, it's easy to hold and a good protector. The stand on the back is pretty useless - I don't know what you'd ever set your Kindle on to read at that angle. I much prefer the strap on the back - it keeps it perfectly in my hand as I read.
