"The Black Church: Leadership and Politics, Preaching in the Black Church, The Black Church and Education, The Black Church and The Black Family." "Creating a Jubiliee World: Practice Jubilee, Celebrate Jubilee. And a Selected Chronology: Struggles and Victories (1619 - 2009)." Section Two is comprised of 16 essays contributed by African American Ministers and Theology Scholars under the heading "Understanding the Bible and the World of Biblical Antiquity." The subjects are "Interpretation of Scripture, Jubilee in Leviticus 17-26, The Message of Salvation, The Relationship between Hebrew and African Languages, The Presence and Role of Africans in the Bible, The Presence of Blacks in Biblical Antiquity, The Alleged Curse on Ham; Slavery in the Ancient Near East, and Particularly in Israel; and Roman Slavery in Antiquity." Documenting "The Black Church" are four essays: "A History of the Black Church; A Hidden History: African American Contribution to the Bible Cause; Black Preaching in the Church, and lastly, Music in the Black Church." Under the subsection "Interpreting the Bible for African Amercans Today" in Section Two still, are three final essays: "The Bible in African American Spirituality; Homegoing; and The Blessing: Restoring Hope for African American Youth." In the back of the Bible are "Bible Study Helps." This section is equally intense with sufficient guidance and aids to disicple any reader into becoming an effective member in the Body of Christ and in life. ENJOY! One was a gift to me. It is definitely large print and print takes up most of the page. But it is a great edition to share as a give away to friends.

One of the best bibles I have ever had, very informative and educational!

I liked everything about this edition of the KJV - it was just what I wanted - except for the one thing which ruined it: The editors have put headings or titles at the top of arbitrarily chosen groups of verses. These headings are generally not quotations from the verses they head, but rather are written, i.e. made up, by the editors.These headings are necessarily the opinions of the editors as to what the verses mean, and many are, in my opinion, wrong. But even when they are right, they are unnecessary and very distracting. Why tell the reader what the editor thinks the verses mean? What is the point of that? It ruins, for me, this edition.

The books are of very poor quality. Not even as good as news print.I turned the two books, but only relieved credit for one book. I returned the books in the same packing as they were received.

This book is easy to read.Paper quality good Print quality very good.Binding etc. very good.The problem is the meaning of the biblical English to understand.With great patience I read about 200 pages and will finish it within 15 more days.the text is interesting to read but not always.I recommend this book the all who wants to get a glimpse of KJV of new testament for reading on regular basis or otherwise.I shall gift a few copies of this Bible to my friends and relatives.

It's cheap and feels and looks cheap but it does not have the Psalms. But it is the KJV bible so that's fine. Type is small. I would not recommend this book.
