Wish I had bought one sooner
I generate a lot of files: design sketches, CAD drawings and 3D renders, videos of the making of my knives, etc. Before getting this drive I was resorting to buying smaller external drive to archive everything on. I was able to put ALL my archives on this one drive with plenty of room for my future projects. I could have saved much if I'd gone ahead and invested in this to start with.

Incompetent shipping by Avolusion.
I ordered a 10 TB external hard drive for my personal computer and instead Avolusion shipped me a drive that is only suitable for connecting to a gaming console. Not at all what I ordered. Sure, Amazon will give you a free return, if you bring the package to a UPS location, but Avolusion's colossal blunder cost me $30 and two hours of my valuable time to make that happen. Such a simple matter and Avolusion was not up to the task. A massive thumbs down to their service and the expense that I incurred to correct THEIR mistake.

Failed after 3 days - Got replacement
Only got it 4 days ago. First 3 days worked fine, then just stopped. I went thru all the motions: usb cable fine, device drivers up to date, not connecting to another computer either. Called AvolusionUSA aka GoHardDrive.com - no pickup, no voicemail. A very nice looking white $100 brick. No choice but to return. P.S. Got in touch with the seller thru Amazon, returned hard drive directly to them, and immediately got a replacement sent. Adding one more star for that. It's been 2 days with the replaced drive, so far, so good. If no more issues will return to add more stars. P.P.S. replacement drive performing as expected over more than a month, adding one more star

Failing almost right out of the box.
Got it and the device is already clicking in a way that indicates failure. Highly disappointed, I just put all my data on it too. I now have to wait for the warranty department to email me back so I can get a replacement.
