Is there any licorice in this? I can have anise but not licorice.

The only thing it says on the label is that there is no alcohol. Ingredients are sugar, glucose syrup, & natural, "identical" flavor - whatever that is. Krinos Foods, Inc. L.I. C. New York 1101 is the importer. Perhaps they can answer your question. As there are three different plants with similar taste (anise, fennel, and licorace) it's hard to guess what "identical" might refer to. Does this have kosher certification? It says it in the Amazon listing, but I'm not seeing it on the product anywhere?

There’s nothing on the packaging that would indicate that it is kosher, one way or another. People I’ve offered this to were only concerned whether there was any alcohol in it, and there is not. But people who’ve tasted Ouzo as a drink were really impressed by these little gems. I think they taste like candy—with a strong anise flavor. And I’d recommend the cinnamon ones as well as these.
