Easy to install and use. The hooks hooked onto the cabinet frame without needing the latch so that was easy to install.

Work well to lock cabinets doors in kitchen and built in book cases in living room. Easy to install with the tool, so no measuring needed. Comes with two magnets so I leave one out and another “reserved” in case it gets lost (by the kids!!).

These work well for what I need them for which is keeping nosy roommates out of my bathroom cabinets. Definitely make sure to install them correctly because I discovered that the tiniest amount of extra space between the top mount and the lock itself made it easy to wiggle the door open. I reinstalled it in the cabinet a tiny bit deeper and it's fine now. Depending on how strong your child is, I feel like they might be able to strong arm it open. I'm able to pull down on my cabinet door (which is a little old) and get around the lock too. Just a couple concerning points. I'm personally still happy for what I need it for.

First of all, these were extremely difficult to install for what I expected (and I am a handy aircraft mechanic). The template they give you to line up the two parts doesn't even line up right. So I had to install one half and guess on the other half of the mechanism. Once installed, the magnetic part to unlock it does actually work as expected. No complaints there. However, the actual deal breaker to these is that the adhesive is EXTREMELY poor and weak. My 1 year old easily opened the drawer with little force and busted the locks off the adhesive, gaining access to the drawer. I've also accidentally broken them off while opening the drawer gently with care if I didn't time the unlocking correctly. Waste of $15, choose another lock.Please note they do give you screws to use Alternatively, so I guess these would work fine with screws but it would be a dog to get past the installation part with the faulty template. Not to mention the actual material plastic these are made out of is far from impressive. Even if it stuck to its surface I'd be concerned it will break after not too much time.Fortunately you can purchase adhesive tape, so I intend on using that to reuse the broken adhesive on the busted locks. By the way, I used these on drawers and on my lower cabinets. They work better on the cabinets but I still don't trust them there. Of you do buy these, don't put anything dangerous behind the cabinets/drawers...Very disappointed. Don't waste your time and money! I wish I could get a refund.

Installing this is a little tricky. Instructions for how to use the template is not very good. Takes a few tries to get alignment just right, so don't press too hard so you can peel the stickers off if you need more than one try to get it lined up. I also had cabinet door bumpers installed. I had to take some of these off because it made the door too thick for the hinge to lock properly. I liked the ability to turn the lock "on and off" while my kid is at daycare. This way, I don't have to use the magnets every time I want to get something out of my cabinets.

These work great! Two of them are faulty and sometimes come undone without the magnet key when our 1yr old shakes the cabinet door to try to open it. Installation can be tricky but once you figure it out, it's super simple to install the rest.

This childproof cabinet locking device is AMAZING!!!! It really does work!!!! We have soft close cabinets that have a flat surface (no handle, just a groove at the top to open). The magnetic lock is the only device we have found so far that works with the type of cabinets we have. The 3M adhesive is strong like bull!!!! We didn’t have to use the screws but it was nice that they were included. It was easy to install (didn’t have to measure or mark anything) and the magnet worked as designed. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a way to keep their child safe while keeping their belongings organized (like the Tupperware in the kitchen drawers……our 15 month old’s favorite toys at the moment :-)
