This is a neat, compact bento style lunchbox in neutral colours. On top is a small condiment pot and a compartment with a spork (which comes in 2 parts in order to fit in). The spork compartment is in a lovely contrasting smoked grey plastic, but is emblazoned with tacky logos/phrases which really let the whole thing down in my opinion.The box then has a larger compartment with a lid, and a secure clip fastening as well. Inside the large compartment is an aluminium dish. This is useful for keeping foods hot or cold, but users need to be mindful that the dish isn’t microwave safe.Overall, a cute box, but can only fit one dish in, so would need a separate lunch box for dessert/sides etc.

They say this bento box has 5 compartments, in actuality its more like 3 compartments. The lower container, made of steel is by all intents and purposes, use to optionally fill withcold, or hot water to keep your food in a suitably cold or warm condition, for longer.This steel container cannot be placed in a microwave of course and as the accompanying deep bowl fits directly into this container, you will not be able to actively use the steel bowl, to carry anything substantial.Towards the upper level of the box, there is a functional 'plate' - again, not deep enough to carry food: there is a tray directly above this 'plate'. This upper tray holds the cutlery which is included.Finally, there is a small chutney-sized bowl with a securely fitting lid to keep the contents intact.The whole box is secure enough to keep food with a slightly "drippy" consistency, from leakage.There are a pair of handles to the upper levels to help keep the box upright when transporting. Theyre on the sides though - not on the top, centrally. Had they been on the top, it would mean that carrying it, much like a case, would have been an option. Not quite easy to do with this set of handles.As I am able to keep the food at a slightly different temperature by placing ice water, if not, heated water inside the steel container (it a not insulated, so don't expect your food that long at an ideal temperature).5 stars
