Needs soldering tools and skill
Made a few projects with these. They worked fine and I used them for anything and everything Arduino. You will need to solder these. They come in pieces. If you don't want to solder then buy something else. These are cheap because there is some assembly required.

These are clones - 5v regulator is not the same as OEM
Great boards, Great price!FYI:The genuine boards($17.95 as of today) use a Microchip MIC5219 regulator in the current revision, with an absolute max of 20 V, and 500 mA. Those parts can be run continuously at 12 V.These boards have the Torex XC6204 LDO regulator (markings '4BMD') it is rated for 150 mA at 10 V max. Recommend 6 V ~ 9 V usage(RAW).

Same functionality, board is SUPER thick.
Same form factor just incredibly thick board. The power LED is also incredibly bright, a lot brighter than the original Sparkfun boards. I had to shelve these for my current project and order more of the original. For one off's, im sure these will work fine.

Excellent value, initial tests seem great!
I ordered five from Hong Kong, the price tag caught my eye as I'm sure it did everyone else's. I received them today, nearly two weeks ahead of the earliest estimated date, which is a nice surprise. They are packaged in sealed anti-static bags and come with (unsoldered) straight male headers for each side of the board and 90-degree headers for the serial port. I initially opened all five and tested with a quick "blink" sketch and all five checked out. So far it's been a great experience and these are an outstanding value. This vendor is my new go-to source, barring any quality issues down the road!EDIT: I bought these from Hong Kong at $3.29/each; I would rate 5 stars for the value at that price point. Right now they seem to be >$8 and Amazon Prime. At that price point, these are not worth it. Call me when they're back to <=$3.29. Until then, I will use other sources.

Already ordered more
This just arrived today and the Arduino "hello world" equivalent Blink program works fine. I have another program that loads on this board and gives me serial communications back.My tests prove this is in fact a ATMega328 running at 16Mhz. It came well packaged in bubble wrap and sealed static bag. The pin headers came in the bag unsoldered - plan to solder if you need them. You will also need a usb to serial converter chip/board to program this. I use the OSEPP brand "FTDI breakout board."Overall I'm happy with my purchase and already have another on order.

Niche Arduino Board
These work for my project where I have an external 5V converter (I'm using a TI TPS613222A) and couldn't fit in an ATmega 328P IC (Otherwise I would've integrated the IC).-Every now and then, I'll get a COM port error, but this is as simple as resetting and unplug-plug back in (Using a genuine Uno as the programmer)-I can confirm that the regulator on mine are marked with "4BMD" which seems to be a Torex XC6204-The board edges are rough, whereas brand name boards are routed out and have smooth edges-The microcontroller on mine are 328p U-TH, I can't confirm if these are genuine or not but they work for me-The ones I received have A4-A7 via/pins, unlike the product picture ones which do not have A5 and A6 vias/pins-These came with an Arduino bootloader, as I was able to use the 6 pins on the bottom for programmingOverall I would only recommend these if-You're using an external 5V regulator-You have a FTDI or an Arduino with one and don't want to use a nano for some reason-You need the absolute lowest power consumption (Be sure to desolder either the LED or the LED resistor)

made my work easy
I am working on a low power battery powered Arduino project and these boards are perfect fitafter reading chip burning reviews I was a bit worried but I went ahead and bought them .I was able to bypass onboard voltage regulator by using VCC pin . board sleep current was 27uA at 4.2Vfor 5-12v supply user needs to connect to RAW pin , instead of VCC . this is not written anywhere and could be the reason for chips burning .
