This book blew my socks off, the series is well written and this book had a the hotness for a shorter read.Well worth the read

This book is exactly what the title says. Heathens Hollow is small town/Island.There is a lot of Heathen behaviour and debauchery.Stormee's Dad has died and his best friend Locke, takes up the role to be her guardian and protector.They both have chemistry but this is forbidden and the age gap.Stormee lives her independence and doesn't want hand out or support. I liked her character at 1st but then she started showing her immaturity through certain section of the story. Her reactions just seemed too much..Locke is feeling responsible for her father's death and guilt for wanting Stormee. So he just watches her from a far. Locke is very dominant, alpha and look at her unalive possessive nature.There is certain rituals that happen in October. It's called the Hunt. If you choose to take part then the ladies need to run and the men will chase and then it's whatever the man wants does (within limits of course).It was a very hot and Steamy book. Very interesting background story going on too.

Didn't disappoint as the residents of Heathens Hollow lived up.to my expectations in this new addition to the series.Now that is an island where only the brave can live as what they get up to can definitely boggle your mind as everyone gets what the want or is it what the need.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

He feels guilty because of his past with her father, but he can’t deny his attraction to Storrie, and he can’t stand the thought of anyone else having her. And so the hunt begins…This was an excellent addition to the series, however this time not focusing on one of the Godwin’s.The relationship that develops between Locke and Storrie is passionate although the secrecy of the Hunts has the potential to ruin it, due to its clandestine nature. Written from both POV’s and a thoroughly enjoyable read.

ARC BOOK REVIEWHeathens was a dark, smutty, and overall amazing book to read. The author wrote this book so well that I found it entirely addictive and I did not put it down once and completely devoured it.The book follows Storee, who a year previously loses her father and has his best friend Locke watching over her. Dad's best friend trope is utterly elite, and in this book, it was perfect. Locke runs a high society members sex club called The Vault, and he specially tells Storee never to go to it.In their town, they have an event called The Hunt, which Locke also happens to run with his friends after it being a tradition for many years. The Hunt is basically a consensual sex hunt where the women have to run, and then they get caught... Storee's friend ends up encouraging her to join in the Hunt this year and when Locke finds out she signed up all of his temptation towards her comes flooding in and he decides to hunt her, and she has no idea.Things heat up between them pretty quickly along the course of when The Hunt takes place, and Locke ends up letting his attraction to her be known and claims her as his. Which was what I wanted from the very beginning as they are amazing together. Going into the book, I didn't know what to expect, and reading this was so good. I don't think I'm going to be able to get it to leave my head.

If dark romance is your thing then this book fits the category so well - it will keep you engrossed until the very last. Following her fathers funeral his best friend Locke has become Storee’s guardian, and this book starts a year from there. She has a huge secret crush on him but is aware of the age gap, and the fact that he was friends with her father, and he has kept his feelings to himself. Heck yes! Heathens takes us back to Heathens Hollow (the setting for Alta's Godwin family series) and the unashamedly kinky Vault club. This is a standalone in an interconnected world and focuses on Storee and her 'guardian' Locke.This book has all the deliciously dark tropes.... age gap, forbidden, guardian. And it plays with so many kinks from warming, primal play, masks, power play, submission. Locke gives major possessive MINE vibes.It is annual hunt season on Heathen's Hollow, where the women can sign up to be hunted as prey through the woods. Storee wants to feel the buzz of possession and of the chase. She doesn't realise she is being watched and protected always. The hunt provides so much more than a one night thrill for both our MCs.This book has electric chemistry and panty wetting passion made all the more delicious by Locke and his stalker vibes.

Great read, great storyline, phenomenal chemistry. For those who adore primal play, Alpha males, and strong but secretly submissive females, this is a read you will certainly enjoy. I'm not usually one for age gap but this was too outstanding a read for me to even care. Bravo. I am diving into the next.

Locke and Storee have a few things to deal with Age gap, guilt, obsession, denial, traditions, denial, desire, rules and more!! Twisted, hot, dark and dangerous and a great read!!!!

Wow! What a brilliantly written story by Alta! I adored Locke, smexy, older, slightly unhinged and possessive, but what a man!Storee was definitely tough, independent, and sassy.

Great book. I like that Storree pretends to be strong, but not really. She kind of portrayed a brat, when she didn’t get her way, she stomped her feet and threw a tantrum. Her hypocrisy was too much. But good story.

This was an intense build up of a story that i could super intriguing and could fall into. I however would have like to have seen more explanation of the events in the last part of the book and ending.
