I haven't had a chance to wear throughout the day yet but it seems like it will be very good
I just received the holster and just tried it for comfort, fit, etc. I haven't had a chance to wear throughout the day yet but it seems like it will be very good. Overall, it seems well made. One commentator mentioned that the pistol retention snap was worthless and he was correct. It is so weak that it immediately disconnects when putting on pants over the holster. He said he replaced the snap with one that works. Because the holster seems like it is good in all other respects, I have just ordered a snap kit to replace the original snap so the pistol will be properly secured. I assume that once the snap is replaced the holster will work out quite well. If you purchase a holster, you made be able to find a craft person, seamstress, leather worker, etc. who can replace the snap for you if you don't want to try to replace it yourself. The snap is about 7/16" or 12 mm if you plan to buy a snap repair kit. As another commentator mentioned, it seems like the real problem is that the strap that goes over the back of the pistol is too short and doesn't allow the end of the retaining strap to lay flat against the pistol. this makes it easy for the strap to catch on a pant leg and snap open. When i get my snap kit I will probably just make a new retaining strap sewn to the holster so that it goes completely over the back of the pistol and lays flat against the firearm. As built now, you can see from the picture of the product, the pull tab to release the snap sticks out 90 degrees from the leg making it very easy for the snap to open. Since I am a tradesman, it's not a big deal to me to make these modifications but it might be for others. One would normally not expect to have to redesign and modify a new product to use it!

Not a bad holster, but needs a few fixes to make it functional.
I've warn this holster since I've had it and like it. My only gripe is that the velcro will ruin the edge banding on this holster fast by making it fuzzy. I had to put another snap in mine as the one on the thumb break was beyond weak and was not in the right place for my firearm. When used on your left leg, the magazine pouch is on the front, which for me, is is the wrong place. It'd be nice to have that behind the leg. We'll see how this holster holds up in 6 months.

Needs a design change.
The holster is relatively comfortable to wear, but the problem is when you attempt to draw. The Velcro is loud when unfastened (giving away your location) and the holster slides up your leg when the gun is drawn. First replace the Velcro with a snap and then incorporate either a thin "L" shaped nylon plate that went from the bottom of the holster to the arch of the foot or use 1½” webbing that’s adjustable and have it go around the bottom of the foot.

Bad snap, otherwise quality product...
Correction. Sorry, my previous rating was a mix up with another seller. This ankle holster is high quality excepting the snap fastener. Like other posters, mine broke with little use. The good news is that I replaced the snap easily enough and now it works perfectly. The holster is comfortable and holds my carry weapon and a spare mag securely. It's a shame the snap issue drags down the product rating.

Built for long legs that don’t kneel.
The support strap (vertical one) was nearly too long for me. I’m 72” tall. The strap that wraps around the top of my calf stayed in place perfectly, but had a metal end the really irritated my leg when kneeling. Okay holster, but not the right fit for me.

Gun Holster Ankle
OK, after a while it will wear on you. When it slides down is when I feel a little discomfort. Mainly when I walk a while. Short time, good to go.

Short life product
Ok at first but material stretches over time and slips down on leg.

comfortable, didn't slip all day!
Hard to find anything like this if you have "chicken legs". But I'm really surprised how well and comfortable it was with a Ruger LCP in it.Wore it all day doing yard work, cutting grass, trimming hedges etc., etc., Never slipped, cut off blood circulation or general mayhem that could arise for strapping on something tight. All three thumbs up on this one. >>>>>M<<<<< (P.S. There's a spot for an extra mag too.)
