Expensive but good
I think this is a good toothpaste and being the only one accredited by the VOHC I have confidence in its efficacy. My dog seems to be ok with the taste but doesn’t lick the tube like she does with the Logic Toothpaste.

Best VOHC toothpaste in the UK
I used to use an enzymatic toothpaste beginning with L. And it would upset my dogs stomach, this does not. iVe noticed his teeth are cleaner and his breath does not smell when using this brand of toothpaste (mainly the london broil flavour). Its very expensive but you do get what you pay for. My dog loves the flavour and licks it off the toothpaste as a reward. I think money wise you should spend the extra £10 and get the bigger tube.

Good toothpaste
It’s the only toothpaste accredited and approved by the veterinary oral health council, and it’s the only one that actually does anythjng. The rest are just pastes with some adhesive sand and beef flavour. It’s expensive, but it works fantastically, the dogs like the flavour, it protects and cleans the teeth and I couldn’t recommend it more

My cats absolutely love it!
I got this Petsmile chicken flavored toothpaste for my cats, and they absolutely love the taste. It makes brushing their teeth so much easier when they actually look forward to it. Definitely recommend!

Very neutral flavor (may be good for cats)
I haven’t used this long enough to know if it works, but it’s a lot easier than other toothpastes to apply to my cat’s teeth for two reasons: it’s thick, and it smells like nothing. One of my cats loves toothpaste from other brands. He will be so enthusiastic about trying to eat it that I can’t get any on his teeth. This one he tolerates but doesn’t register it as a treat, so he’s extremely disappointed when I use it but this allows me to actually brush his teeth at all. My other cat hates all toothpaste including this one, but it seems to be neutral enough that she lets me put it on her teeth without foaming at the mouth in disgust, so again it actually makes it onto her teeth and stays there for more than a second. The consistency seems to help the paste stay intact until it’s applied, rather than soaking into the toothbrush bristles like others I’ve tried. Anyway, the best cat toothpaste is the one you can actually use, so this is great for me.

Not a game changer but we think it helps
Our dog likes the flavour of the toothpaste and easily spreads it around his mouth and allows us to use an Oral-B electric toothbrush on outside of his teeth. It doesn't make them pearly white, but we think it slows the development of tartar along his gum line.

Really recommend this toothpaste! Especially if your pet suffers from severe tartar
My 19 year old cat has suffered from pretty bad tartar for a couple years now and after using this toothpaste for about a week it has improved her teeth a ton! If you’re debating to get this toothpaste read my review and see for yourself. Since she’s quite old she can’t go under anesthesia to get that tartar removed so I wanted to give this toothpaste a try and hope it’d remove some of it and boy did it ever! In just under two days the tartar that was on her back teeth on the right side fell off (unfortunately I didn’t get a before picture but her left and right side looked identical so I’m glad I got a before of her left side at least) the tartar on the left side took 4ish days to fall off and it fell off while I was still brushing her teeth! She does have some staining that’s left over from the tartar but it’s only been a week so the more I use it I’m sure it’ll go away, her breath has definitely improved as well. If your pet suffers from tartar or staining and they can’t be put under anesthesia or you can’t afford a 2000 dollar vet bill, please give this a try and I hope it works just as well for you as it did for me. If your pet hates getting their teeth brushed definitely try looking for those pet wrap blankets (it’s what I use since she hates getting her teeth brushed but hey I do it anyway for her benefit) you don’t even need a toothbrush just smearing some on your finger and rubbing along their teeth does the job so there’s that. I’m so glad I got this toothpaste, and I will definitely continue to buy more once I run out.
