No screws, no nothing. Yes, a little pricey for 250 watts, but the system is so well thought out it is worth it. BUT, if you purchase this unit's big brother the American Beauty 105H9. which takes you up to 1,800 watts, you can make ALL the attachments for this fit the 105H9 with the same instant connect plugs by putting the American Beauty 105Y10 hand piece adapter on each of the 105H9's front three terminal studs. Then you have a completely interchangeable instant connect hand piece system from 0 to 1,800 watts! Since you can get as much money into the hand pieces as you have in the power supply units this is a great way to get this huge power range all in one set of a hand pieces. I don't know anything on the market that comes even close to this system. Do use a little common sense on the power and attachment size. If you try and pump 1800 watts through the micro soldering tweezers hand piece the tips will vaporize almost instantly. HOWEVER the soldering "tips" for the regular range of hand pieces are ever thicker pieces of carbon rod. In other words, they are not soldering iron "tips" they are carbon electrodes. These will tolerate an unbelievable amount of abusive "over powering."
