Amazing countertop RO system with Hot and room temp water!
WOW! This is a great countertop RO system. I researched various hot-cold under counter and on counter systems and decided to go with this model and glad I did. The unit doesn’t take that much space on your counter and looks streamlined and super modern. I couldn’t really find that much info on it besides the reviews here and a couple of YouTube videos but still decided to give it a shot. Setup is super easy and does take a full twenty minutes if you stand by the machine and follow its cues. I believe I had to fill the tank twice and the machine does the rest. I had bought a tds tester before this arrived and had verified my taps tds level which was also spot on from Waterdrops website zip code analyzer. My tds was showing 147 meanwhile the water from the Core Ro was coming out under 20 ppm! The water tastes crisp and pure! No weird smells or aftertaste. I do use a single stage Waterdrop under counter filter to fill my water although these type of filters do not change the tds levels. I am actually going to be removing the single stage and upgrading it to the a 3 stage filter system just for added precaution. This will also give me way better water at my fridge which will be connected to it. It might be habit but I still find myself reaching inside the fridge for water sometimes and of course ice cubes. This will help provide overall better water from both sources. The best part of this purchase was that it eliminated me having to use my Keurig maker for hot water which I hated doing due to the water sitting there and being warm in the tank all the time. So now I get clean pure filtered room temp water virtually all day long, and I also get hot water in the morning for tea and coffee. I usually refill the tank once a day. With that said I do wish the touch screen would tell you real time tds levels but it will only flash red when high tds levels have been detected which usually means it’s time for a new filter. A word of caution with this system. When the tank needs to be refilled the screen will blink “out” do not refill the tank without first dumping the remaining water left at the bottom. That is basically your waste water and the tds levels on that water was over 500 ppm. This is definitely not really apparent at first but then a light bulb went off in my head and I realized it after I refilled my first tank. Waterdrop also claims you can void your warranty by not dumping the remains water first before refilling the tank with new tap water. One minor drawback is having to slide the system forward a little bit to remove the tank and also remove the freshwater tank since I keep it under my upper kitchen cabinets. I placed a bamboo mat under it and not it easily slides forward so problem solved. I did see some will put small appliance sliders under the appliance to make it easier as well. I would highly recommend this countertop RO system for a small family or couple. I did buy a second water tank to keep in my fridge or counter for larger volume fills. In the end it was between the Core RO and the Waterdrop under counter RO system which was significantly more expensive. I think this is a good start and best of all the system can be moved and taken anywhere.

So Far So Good
My AquaTru Carafe crapped out after one year so I was loath ti spend another $400.00 there. This machine seems to be fine. little more plastic than I'd like, but countertop machines seem to be mostly plastic anyway. So far this machine does everything the Mfr. claims it can do. Setup is pretty intuitive. No major leakies. The tap water tank is a bit unwieldly if you do not have a high-rise faucet. I like the hot water option. I was using my coffeemaker to make tea. This unit puts out 203defF water. The hot water can be locked out to protect children. happy so far. I may be back in a month bitching that it's crap.

Customer service is a nightmare
Their link to register the warranty on the unit was giving me an error message. We've emailed back and forth several times and they keep coming up with new things for me to go find, even though I've provided all information. I can't imagine what it would actually be like if I needed to use the warranty. The unit itself cleans water fairly well. I notice when I use this water in my humidifier, it still gets pink mold within a week. Sink water is quicker, but with bottled machine water from the store it wouldn't this quick. So, I don't think it's purifying as well as the bottled water. With normal use (just for drinking), you have to refill a few times a day. The pump isn't so loud once you get used to it, though I remember thinking it was loud when it was new.

Great RO Filter
Love this thing. The instant hot water is fantastic for making instant mushroom coffees and teas. The 40 oz clean reservoir is big enough that you don't feel like you're refilling the feed tank constantly. Maintenance is pretty easy and straightforward. Also use the water to mist reptile enclosures and water terrarium plants as the RO water leaves no spots on the glass.

Well-Designed RO System
Electricity usage for a household of four is less than $5 per month. It is easy to maintain than direct connect water line (RO system). The built-in water heater is very convenient. Overall, it appears well-designed and of good quality.

Above expectations!
I did a lot of research before finally choosing this product over other brands and models. And I think I definitely made the right choice! I was specifically looking for a countertop water dispenser that comes with filter, instant hot feature, and has big ish tank within a budget. Waterdrop has pretty good reputation from what I know, but I read the reviews from more popular models saying the tank is small so they will have to refill all the time. I was a little skeptical with this one because it doesn’t have a lot of reviews. However I have to say it satisfied all my needs, I love that I could drink filtered hot water without waiting for it to boil, and average refilling once a day for a household of 3. It also comes with different temperature and fill volume. I am not big with tasting water, but I would say there is not weird taste even when I first drank it. Also when you fill up the tank, the machine will filter some water into the middle right away so it does look like the water is half gone, just something to take note of. The only downside is that if I need water for cooking that will take a while to dispense enough water for the pot. Regardless I’m enjoying using this dispenser! Update: just found out there’s a tank inside that already has filtered water so I can pour directly for cooking purposes. Really able to do everything that I asked for! Bravo

Updated Review - 5 stars for excellent customer service
Owned for less than a year. Loved it at first, then saw all the problems everyone else was having. We mainly use it for the interior filter water canister water for cooking. We get filter drinking water from our fridge. So this machine has light usage since we owned it. Noticed issues of course past the 30 day return window so its been an unpleasant learning experience. We kept using the machine to get our money's worth. Machine water tank leaks if you are not vigilant when putting water tank back on machine after filling it up. We had instances of water pool on our kitchen counter. When I take the tank off to empty waste water, I fill halfway and place it on my kitchen counter to monitor for leaks in the bottom of the tank. If it leaks, I seriously just press the 2 balls at the bottom of the tank until it doesn't leak before I place it back on the base. After a couple of water leaks on our kitchen counters, we now keep paper towels under the tank to alert us if there is a leak as water is camouflage on our kitchen counter. We now constantly get E04 error messages which require us to unplug and plug the tank back in. Overall not worth it with all the problems we had with light use of this machine for less than a year. If this machine wasn't expensive, we would have chucked it by now but us wanting to get our money's worth has stubbornly kept using it. Updated review - Changed from 1 star to 5 stars for customer service - Was contacted by customer service to address the issues I was having with our old machine. Was shipped a replacement machine at no cost to us to see if that solved the issue we were having with our constant E04 error message that we just had a lemon. Just hooked up and flushed our new machine. Little leery of having the same issues as before but time will tell. But I have to say, the company has excellent customer service.

Water filter only last over 6 months
The filter does work, but I was disappointed with how long it lasted. I bought it in June 2025 and tested my water in December 2025. The filtered water reading was a little over 40, which already wasn’t ideal. Right before I replaced the filter yesterday, I tested again and the filtered water showed a reading of 50. When I tested my tap water, it also showed 50 — which means the filter was no longer improving the water. In my case, the cartridge lasted just a little over 7 months, not the “up to 12 months” advertised. Just a heads-up that you may need to replace it sooner than expected, depending on your water quality and how much you use it.

Waterdrop RO Machine meets our expectation.
Wd this countertop RO machine for almost a week. Instructions for setting up are very easy & clear…also has a QR version. As RO removes even the good minerals, I add trace mineral drops to the water. Enhances the water’s flavour. I have 4 -1 litre canning jars that I rotate and fill to keep cold in the fridge, as we like drinking cold water. The hot water feature also works well for my tea. So far, we are very pleased with our Waterdrop RO countertop machine.

A Household Staple
I’ve had this for about 3.5 months now and it has become an absolute staple in our household. It is used multiple times everyday. I love it because of the health benefits it brings our family. After all, if you don’t use a water filter then your body is the water filter. This has a room temp setting and a hot setting. The hot is very convenient for drinking tea and it’s great to have room temp as some family members prefer drinking that temp. I prefer to drink cold water and so I keep a 1L jug in the fridge that I refill with filtered water. A feature that I totally appreciate is the removable jug from inside the machine. You lift the lid, press a release button and the whole 1L reservoir slides out. Then I pour that into my fridge jug. Very handy. Anyway, since we’ve had this for a while and love it, it is definitely worthy of a 5-star review. :)

Great product and excellent customer service!
I’ve been using the Waterdrop WD-C1H for a while now and I’m very satisfied. When I had a small issue, their customer service (especially Andrew) responded quickly and replaced the unit with no hassle. The new machine works perfectly, and they even sent me a thoughtful gift afterwards. It’s rare to see this level of care and follow-up these days — truly appreciate their support! Highly recommended product and company.

Very good countertop water tank
It works really well, but I honestly don't understand why all the water remaining in the tank after a flush has to be drained away instead of being reused—especially considering that at least a quarter of the water is left inside.

Defective upon arrival
Product shows an E04 error upon first installation when flushing the filter only goes until 19% and doesn’t dispense when the blue flashing light come on. Will be returning product.
