Saw this band a few times
From the early to mid seventies. I promise you,their joy on stage was infectious, you could not help but smile along with themThis set is a joy,too. A mix of older and later stuff,quite a lot of which I had never heard before,extended and alternative mixes etc. They were huge on parts of the continent,where a great deal of what's on here was first released forThis is a wonderful set,sure to get your feet tapping and put a smile on your lips and at a bargain price. Well worth it if you're in any doubt

Great tunes from a great band of the early 70s.
What's not to love? It's Osibisa for heaven's sake. However, when I tried to rip it through my Naim UnitiServe it came up as "Unknown" which is a real pain. I'll just have to not be lazy and actually insert the discs in my player!Osibisa should be honoured as one of the pioneer bands for what we now know as World Music. They were a fantastic live act too - their joy in playing was infectious and I loved seeing them.

Brilliant collection. One of my fav bands of the 70's, brought African rock to the masses!
