With a bit of finagling, I can position this for sitting up or reclining at a variety of angles. I personally find I'm using that half-moon bolster pillow for my lumbar area, instead of as neck or head pillow. I go between using nothing, a regular bed pillow, and my 'Sagino Cervical Memory Foam Pillow" for extra head support. If you're wondering, I didn't opt for an adjustable bed base because they're heavy, can be a bit noisy, and are prone to breaking down. To me, that was just NOT worth the high cost! I really like that you can use the Lunix LX5 in a number of configurations. The flexibility it provides is fantastic. I also love that it's supportive, but not too firm. I'm already debating buying either another full set, or at least their LX6 3 pc wedge set for use around the house! I will update this when I've been using it longer, but I was so thrilled and relieved, I really didn't want to wait. Update: Still using this regularly, still love it. Foam is holding up beautifully. I bought extra covers for it so I can swap them out for laundering. The “mattress cover” material parts have a few snags despite laundering them inside out, but the sides are fine and they’ve held up in the wash overall (no holes or shrinking, no broken zippers). FYI, I also bought a set of the newer covers that are the velvety material all over, and the quality of the material isn’t as nice as what was used for the sides on the originals. It IS however, safer from snagging (as in, NO snags), and it looks more finished vs. the mattress cover-style, “bamboo” embossed cream fabric, so there’s that. Do beware the pink option - the color is more of a peachy pink in person and (imho) looks cheap and very juvenile. Very comfortable. However the storage vacuum bag that come with it don’t work very well. They don’t seal up fully and can’t be compressed. The company replaces the original storage bags without any issues.
