Q: Are these correct for a 2003 silverado 1500 z71 ext cab 6.5' bed alum. driveline? need both for front & rear.

Q: Will this sit in the rear yoke straps tight? I think i ordered wrong u joint the straps will not tighten on caps. Does the inside clamp act as a shim

A Dana/Spicer u-joint Strap kit when installed the strap does not "clamp" down around the entire top half of the u-joint cap. When a Dana/Spicer strap kit is installed the strap when looking from a side view will clamp down on the u-joint cap at about the 10-o'clock and 2- o'clock positions, to where if you look at the top of the u-joint cap from a side view there will be a slight gap between the top of the u-joint cap and strap.
