A: When you get them, weatherguard them. Then any decent trainer cleaner will keep them white. AND I've put mine in the machine a few times on 20°.

**Q: What material is the top of the shoe, it looks like leather (faux) in picture but says canvas in description. Need dry feet**
A: They are faux leather. I'm on my second pair. The uppers crack after a while but are comfortable and as waterproof as is possible given the type C of shoe and material.
