Great value pack of bright LEDs
At the time of writing, this pack of 250 LEDs was £6.99 - which is great value. They arrive sorted in a box with 10 compartments, 2 for each of the 5 colours. As has been mentioned in other reviews, it's a shame the characteristics aren't printed on the box as they're not all the same. However, a minute looking at the original description and writing on the box with a permanent marker fixed this! The LEDs are fairly bright, not the brightest of course, but for normal indicator applications or perhaps model lighting these are easily bright enough. Perhaps the least brightest is the yellow/amber - at least to my eyes. Note that my photo makes the white look slightly blueish, but that's just the phone camera wrongly compensating - it is actually white.Since I was lucky enough to receive this free via the Amazon Vine programme, I felt duty bound to conduct a proper test. So I individually tested every LED in the pack and every one worked. I also counted them all and found I had 50 each of the Red, Blue, Yellow and White whilst I received 51 (I counted twice!) of the Green. So a handy, good value pack of assorted bright LEDs

Nice pack but no label and not all 3v
This is a nice handy pack of LEDs, which is great if you want a selection available for little projects. The LEDs themselves are perfect for those sorts of tasks. However they are all different brightness and voltage. The disappointing thing is that the title says 3v, but they aren't all 3v. Instead there are a few different voltages, lots of different amount of brightness. The whole point of a selection box like this to grab it and know what you need to do. The box should have had the forward voltage, lumens and mA power draw listed on each LED. Instead the only way to know is by looking on the Amazon website listing. This is not good when 18 months later you need to use the LED - you then need to remember you purchased it via Amazon, locate the order and hope the listing has all the info. Instead they should have put an insert, or label. That way the technical detail is all there. Really poor thinking. the only fix is to manually label each compartment.

Grab a bargain.
You can’t have too many LEDs! This is a great selection to have in stock, perfect for the experimenter. I can remember when blue LEDs were £5 each! Little me would be squealing in delight. Actually, big me is getting close.I have tested a few and they all lit up, which is good. It’s difficult to judge if the brightness was consistent so I reckon they are close enough to each other so as not to matter. No data is included, but a bit of experimenting will allow you to find a suitable current to drive them at.

Handy selection box for DIY electronics
I am always playing around with LED diodes and this pack is very handy as it includes the most commonly used colours for me.You need to consider the Voltage for each bulb though as they are different, they are listed as 3.0v - 3.2v but some require lower voltage, otherwise you risk blowing them, I have attached a chart I use for he correct voltage, this is common to LED diodes and you soon get used to it.It's a pity the values aren't included on the box, an easy way to remember is to write the voltage of each colour with a sharpie or print little labels. The price is okay and worth the money for beginners as they will definitely come in handy for a wealth of electronics and Arduino projects.

good range of simple leds for home stem activities
I recently had the opportunity to try out a pack of 250 LEDs in five different colors, including red, green, blue, yellow, and white. These LEDs are 5mm in size, making them a versatile choice for various electronic projects. The LEDs arrived nicely packaged in a plastic box, which helps keep them organized and prevents them from getting damaged. With 50 LEDs in each colour, this set provides a diverse selection for different applications.

Excellent value 5mm 3V LEDs - 250 Pcs Multicolor
LEDs arrived nicely packaged in a neat plastic box. 5mm is a good size in my opinion but depends on intended usage. With 50 each of five different colours this is a very useful set of spares for electronic projects etc. At time of review £7.98 for 250 is very good value. To test these LEDs you can place the legs across a 3V coin cell. As LEDs are by definition diodes, they will only work when connected the right way round, so check the polarity when making the connection. All the bulbs I tried worked fine with nice bright colours. There are no details printed on the box. However useful information is provided on the web page details. For reference the working voltage the lamps is 3.0-3.2V, the working current is 20 mA. The long foot conductor is positive (+), and the short foot is negative (-).Wattage of each lamp bead is 0.06W, and the wavelength range of each colour: red 620-625nm; green 515-520nm; blue 455-460nm; yellow 585-590nm; white 3000-10000k.Looking forward to using these, very happy to recommend.

Work Well and Useful but Very Expensive Compared to Others
These 5mm LEDs arrived in their own plastic storage case which was taped shut to secure them. I ordered the 250 mixed selection which has fifty of each colour (green, red, blue, yellow and white). The product description says in one place that the negative leg (cathode) is the shorter leg but in another place it says that the negative leg is the longer leg. Just to be clear, the negative leg (cathode) is the shorter leg. When they arrived I tested one of each colour in a breadboard and they were all fine (see pictures). If you enjoy tinkering with or repairing electronics these things are really useful to have to hand and it saves ordering them as required. There’s a good selection and with 50 of each colour they’ll go a long way.My main criticism is the price. At £7.98 for 250 (3p each) they are expensive. You can get twice as many on Amazon for the same price (https://amzn.eu/d/7jBbMR6) so because of this and the confusing product description they only get 3 stars.

Nice selection of LEDs
A nice selection of coloured LEDs including common red and green but also blue, yellow and white.Low power, bright illumination, and plenty of each.Great selection for the electronics hobbyist.
