Our microwave started sparking when using it and I was afraid we were going to have to replace it. When doing some research found out it was likely caused by this part going bad. I looked in our malfunctioning microwave and found this plate was indeed blackened/fried. Ordered this part to try to fix it with a small hope it would and I wouldn't have to replace the whole microwave. Part arrived, and was easy to swap out and like magic the microwave is now working as normal. Inexpensive, easy fix. Works great and has now been in place for many months. Happy to have found this!

Arrived in perfect condition, works perfectly. The included locking button is really nice if you happen to break the original one removing the old cover.

Super easy to replace the existing cover. Took maybe 30 seconds. Much cheaper than a new built-in. Microwave. Hopefully it will do the trick..

Sparks comes when heating something with butter or oily food. Can't warm butter anymore. Only working when warming rice.
