Wife Between Us Paperback – 11 July 2023

I had lost my reading mojo towards the end of last year, I hadn’t been picking my kindle up as often, and when I did I struggled to get in to the plot - I had lost count of the amount of books I was less than 10% in to and had given up on, until I stumbled across The Wife Between Us - it was by authors that I had not heard of before, was written in collaboration by 2 authors (which would usually have put me off) I was hooked from the very first chapter and I devoured it in less than 24 hours!The plot was so clever!Usually clever stories mean confusing plots - not in this case.Any reviews that claim books have “amazing plot twists” I usually see coming and am underwhelmed - not in this case.The book is in three parts, and each part is as pacy as the last. I almost got whiplash between the end of part one and the beginning of part 2 with a plot twist I had no idea was coming.I don’t want to go in to the plot because any independent reviews could reveal too much and ruin it - I am a firm believer that as a reader you are better going in to this book knowing as little about the book as possible.What I will tell you is that this is an absolute page turner with an intricate and suspenseful plot that has given me my reading mojo back! Yay!!I’ve already downloaded my next book….and yes - It is another collaboration book by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanan.

This was an interesting book. Just when you think it’s heading one way it has a little twist, then you think you’re heading forward and it twists again. Was nice to read something a bit different that didn’t follow the same premise. Would recommend to others for an interesting and different read.

I enjoyed em reading this book even though it did not captivate me. It was an easy read with a few twists but lacked depth.

This really kept my attention for a holiday read, would recommend. Loved the structure and unexpected storyline twist in the book.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book initially, however your curiosity grows as the story unfolds. There are many twists and turns which keep you guessing. I enjoyed the two sides of the story and how they worked together, however I was hoping for more about Richard and his past, I felt the ending was slightly disappointing in that it didn't really go where I thought it would. Questions were answered but a bit clinically and without a lot of explanation. Overall though I loved the style of the writing and the overall story was gripping and really did keep me hooked until the end.

An unusual plot and well crafted storyline.The story develops around "Nellie" a young woman who is preparing to marry her wealthy boyfriend. As her wedding looms closer she begins to struggle to maintain long term relationships with her girlfriends and the busy work and social life she loves and finds it difficult to balance those relationships and the expectations of her future husband. As the storyline becomes more complex, past and present collide for all the characters including Nellie's boyfriend's ex-wife. NOW...please don't assume you know where the story is heading as it has twists and turns untill the very end of the novel. Very little is what the reader believes or assumes. Fabulous.

Actually didn't see the reveals in this one coming, which was great. It is a little slow in parts, but I thought it dealt with sensitive issues such as domestic violence very well. Another great poolside read!

This book was hard to put down. I'm not a fast reader but finished it in less than a week. Thought I had the story sussed but how wrong was I. Great twists and my mind only lost interest for about two pages of the whole book. This has to be one of my favourite reads this year. Definitely recommend

An absolutely riveting book. Every twist was a surprise. I read the whole thing in 2 sittings, I literally could not put it down!

Easy and well written . The Who did what type of story - ifyou enjoy easy but books with suspense this one is for you

At the beginning, the book is promising, but it struggles all the way to the end to keep its promises. In my opinion, it doesn’t succeed.
