A Great Selection Box.
This is a very useful selection box of 5 different coloured 3mm LEDs which is a welcome addition to my stock of LEDs.Being 3mm they are on the small side which is ideal for incorporating into plastic models or any other project requiring LEDs that are on the small side. I tested a few at random and they all worked fine and as can be seen in the photos are quite bright for their size. The legs looked clean and so should be easy to solder. These do not come with any data sheet although the data is on the product page. I would suggest getting a permanent marker and writing this info on the box or do as I did, copy and paste the info into a document, print it out and put it in the lid. That way you will not forget the voltage etc if you have other LEDs like I do.This is a great selection box of LEDs if you do any projects involving LEDs with an Arduino or Raspberry Pi which is what I will use them for, and for the price (£6.89 at time of review) I think the box is great value. Recommended.I hope you found this review helpful.

Good batch of LEDs
It's been a very long time since I used any LEDs in my workshop, especially with them now being buit as SMDs on a tape or a roll. These do bring back some memories on how I used to make little flashing light projects and been wanting to re-built by night-rider chaser light kit but with a much better design using the 4017 chip, being a decade counter. It didn't take me long to build up my little project back up from my old kit with the new set of lights. The legs are same as they used to be, strong and firm and don't snap or anything silly and bend perfectly. As for brightness and accuracy, they are all the same and stay consistent.Good pack of LEDs and a very good box that can be reused for any of your old or new components. You also have a good sized pack of 250 in 5 colours.

Nice set for your stock
This is a nice little set of LEDs, supplied in a neat box with a good supply of LEDS in assorted various colours.Ideal as a way to build up your stock, for projects, upgrades or repairs. They are standard 3mm and under inspection they are of good quality. I have tested a selection and all have high brightness for typical currents and expected forward voltages for colour.I quite like changing LEDs for different colours on some things, just be aware that the required forward voltages of different colours vary a fair bit so you may not get as much brightness without adjusting the supply if you do that.Having a good variety of different colours in the same size makes knocking up a useful status indicator very easy to show at a glance the status of equipment or the presence of supply rails.I can source LED's cheaper than this, these are currently about 3 pence each, but the price is reasonable for quick UK delivery and consumer right and a good storage case thrown in.Product recommended.

Useful Little Set
This is definitely a handy little set of leds for those who enjoy playing around with electronic projects. There's a selection of 5 colours with 50 pieces of each colour. I have some future projects that these will be ideal for, especially with them being the smaller, 3mm leds.On selecting a random assortment, they all checked out perfectly and also slotted into standard breadboard with no dodgy connections or other problems. The legs all look clean and shiny so I foresee no issues with soldering them either. One thing I particularly like is the sorting box they come in. It's nice in itself but the best part is that the sides of the divisions reach all the way to the closed lid which means that the leds stay in their separate divisions rather than getting all mixed up if the box gets shaken about. I can't tell you how many times I've had to sort out small components like these when they've all gotten mixed up in a poorly designed storage tray! All in all, good value for money.

Size, colour and performance as expected. Lacking a data sheet, but basic specs are on the webpage.
The LEDs are supplied in a compact, clear plastic storage case that has a catch with a good positive action, so if you happen to drop the box it won’t just fall open and spill the contents everywhere. The LEDs follow the standard pin designation, with a flat on the case indicating the cathode and a longer lead indicating the anode. Although, it tends to be a bit superfluous with modern manufacturing, I took ten random LEDs from the case and tested them. All were fine – to be honest the only times I’ve known an LED not to work is when I’ve thrown too much current through it causing it to fail. No data sheet is supplied, but the Amazon product page has the current limit (20mA) for calculating the limiting resistor to drive these without risking a burnout. The LEDs produce a good brightness for the size and the colour (warm white) is as specified.Overall, does exactly what you would expect. A good number of LEDs for a reasonable price.

A nice selection to get you started.
Presented in a useful compartmentalised box, the LEDs come in 5 colours. The leads of the LEDs were clean and bright, I had no problem soldering them, they were correctly sized to get a good purchase in the prototype board. They follow all the usual standards for anode/cathode identification and the listing gives the data for the voltage and current, pretty typical values, your current limiting resistor will depend on the voltage of your power supply.Illumination and colour was good when applying the recommended values.A workman like selection of LEDs, good for someone starting out in an electronics hobby and wanting a selection of colours or for the more experienced user needing some "jobbing" LEDs.Useful item.
