Ensure Original Vanilla Nutrition Shake | Small Meal Replacement Shake | Ready To Drink | 9g Protein, 27 Vitamins and Minerals | 8 fl oz - 6 Pack

Ensure Original fills a different role from the brand’s high-protein shakes. Each bottle is a compact 8 ounces and provides 9 grams of protein along with 27 vitamins and minerals, making it easier to use as a small meal replacement or a general nutrition drink rather than only as a protein supplement. The vanilla flavor is a familiar choice and can also blend into smoothies, pancake batter, pudding, or other recipes without adding chocolate or fruit notes. The ready-to-drink bottles require no mixing and do not need refrigeration until opened, which makes the six-pack convenient for a pantry, work bag, or travel. The smaller package is also useful for someone who does not want to commit to a large case. Buyers should read the complete ingredient and allergen label, and the manufacturer notes that it is not for people with galactosemia. For anyone looking for balanced nutrition in a modest serving instead of the highest possible protein number, this is a practical and versatile format.

I found myself skipping meals because of work or just not being hungry when I knew I should have eaten something. I was quickly picking up a bad habit so I decided to buy some of these Ensure drinks. I know there are alternatives or supplemental drinks for meals but they usually are for people on a diet. I have no need to loose weight so these drinks were perfect for me.The taste was not exactly what I expected. If you chill the drinks as cold as you can get them and shake them well they are fine but you really don't want to let these things lay around for more than 5 to 10 minutes. The drink will become a bit chalky and it seemed to stick to my mouth a little but that is about typical from these types of drinks. I did find a trick and that was to add a small amount of coffee. Adding coffee made the vanilla stick out and gave the drink a more sippable experience. All in all I would recommend buying Ensure and I look forward to trying the other flavors.(Note: Just a quick word about the shipping. It was fast and convenient and I did not have to go to the store and lug them back home. They were on the doorstep a couple of days after purchasing and after a day to chill they were ready to drink. The online ordering and shipping experience is preferred.)

As you get older, you need these supplements and they’re easy to keep in your refrigerator and ready to take it all times!

Good product. Arrived as expected.
