Great product and service
The film looks perfect and was easy to install, even though there were no instructions. The glass now feels really safe even with a baby around. We did not manage to install the roll we ordered for almost three months. When we finally did, we found half of it was unusable due to some ridges in the film. I was not sure whether it was due to incorrect storage on my part, but I contacted the seller to let them know and they replaced the half roll anyway. So also the service is great, though both rolls came without instructions.

Used on glass shower doors for child safety. Hard to notice fitted.
Excellent means of protecting at an extra level on a double glass shower next to the toilet our son uses at night. Even though the shower doors should be toughened glass I wanted to ensure our sons safety if he fell into one at night. I am confident this will protect from shatter risks. Fairly easy to apply with a bit of thought and concentration. Came with instructions, easy enough to fit with a window tinting kit I had. Quite thick so use a very sharp knife when cutting/trimming. Will stick to most surfaces by accident but gives me confidence it will stay on the glass for years to come. Practically impossible to see once fitted so I’m impressed.

Very good product
Good plastic film that is thick and relatively easy to cut and apply. I wanted this for an internal glass door to protect my two-year old in case the glass ever breaks - I had a hard time getting the bubbles out of it, so the film is visible because of the bubbles, but it does the job from a safety point of view. Good product, and I've ordered more for other doors in the house.Four stars rather than five because of the bubbles, but that's just a feature of any plastic film, I think.

Good product. Need patience to put on
Used on wardrobe mirror doors in children's room. Good product. Need patience to put on. Only got a couple of bubbles left in. Worth cutting a little off and practising first. Gives peace of mind.

Easy to fit
Bought for the shed (perfect) as glass thin and grandkids getting more boisterous. We did 6 panes in a couple of hours, once we knew what we were doing it was a doddle. Cut to just bigger than size required +3/8 inch with scissors and trimmed when in situ with Stanley. I can imagine for your house windows it may be more of a prob getting them grit free.

Waste of money!
Absolute waste of time and money. Bought this to cover the lower panes of glass in 2 internal doors as a safety measure in case the glass got broken by small children. Very time consuming cutting out all the pieces only to find they look a complete mess when fitted. The glue shows through once they have been fixed to the glass despite following the instructions to the letter. The whole lot went in the bin!!

The film applied easily with a very weak Fairy liquid/water solution and is ...
Fitted to the inside of the new french doors since our rather heavy dog has a habit of jumping up when he see's squirrels in the garden (he avoids doing it when we're home but I've caught him jumping up on camera when we're out!).The film applied easily with a very weak Fairy liquid/water solution and is perfectly clear. It'll clearly be strong enough to protect the glass from scratches, and hopefully we'll never need to test it's shattering abilities!

Functional and acceptable, but not quite the immaculate finish I worked hard to achieve.
I used this on both sides of four internal glass door panels, each approximately a metre tall by 25cm wide.Contrary to what some other reviewers have said, I found the instructions very clear and thorough. I followed these to the letter and got good adhesion without any of the bubbles (all right, one or two small ones!) others report. One unexpected and disappointing thing that I did find, though, was that on all the finished glass panels there is patchy but quite conspicuous whitish streaking in places underneath the applied film. Whether this is a result of too much slip solution, too little, the wrong kind of glass (it was part frosted but perfectly level and smooth all over) or some inherent streak-inducing quality in the self-adhesive backing, I couldn't say. All I can say is that neither varying the concentration of the slip solution nor varying the quantity used (I experimented with these variations) had any effect on the degree of streaking that resulted. Maybe others will be luckier than I was and largely avoid this.Cutting to size is easy. You need a self-healing cutting mat (preferably the largest available), a very sharp knife and a metal ruler. Mark the desired size on the outside of the film with dots from a marker pen (they can be removed afterwards with a little meths) and trim out neatly. When you are removing the backing from the sticky side (it comes off very easily once you get one corner lifted), have your spray bottle to hand and do not work too far away from the glass you want to put the film on; doing so will just increase the risk of you dropping the sheet as you lift it on to the glass, and if bits of dust, dirt, and fluff are attracted to the static charge on the acetate to begin with, they are even more attracted to the wetted self-adhesive side. I didn't drop any of the sheets I was handling after removing the backing, but I can imagine it could seriously mar the finish if you did.On a final note make sure your glass is clean, clean, clean (yes, clean it three times and thoroughly) before you spray on the slip solution for the final time and fit the film. If you just go ahead and fit the film when the glass isn't clean, you will find out how thoroughly you needed to clean it when it is no longer convenient to do so.
