magnet adhesive not secure, broken
Update: the magnetic backing on this spontaneously peeled off and it fell off the refrigerator onto the floor and it broke. Looks like the adhesive failed. I would not recommend this product.previous review:I really enjoy using this, and it seems well made. It's very very easy to read quickly from a distance. The magnet is strong enough to hold it firmly in place on a refrigerator so you can set it quickly with one hand. I tested it against my iPhone's timer and it seems quite accurate. The bell is loud and has a long enough ring duration that it's hard to ignore -- you just have to follow the instructions and make sure you wind it all the way up when you set it.I use this for cooking and for other tasks, and it's a winner!

Sturdy and high quality
This is not digital timer but "old fashion" mechanical style, you need dial and use it. It is made with very good material, very sturdy and accurate. I like these kind of things that don't need battery. You can stick the timer to fridge or stove easily with the magnet stripe on the back.

Red Timer
This little timer is very different from any timer I have had before. It took a little while to get used to it, but I really have enjoyed it so far. I like the bright red color, and it looks cute sitting on the counter. The ringer is loud, which is a good feature if you are busy upstairs, in the garage etc. I would recommend this little timer if you are looking to replace your old one.

Nice and loud when stuck on the fridge.
Other digital timers might be accurate to seconds while this is only to minutes, but I can't hear them unless I carry them with me. This timer sounds like an old house phone from the 50's. It's got a nice retro look, and the magnet is strong enough to hang on the fridge, which acts like a soundboard. I don't know how durable it will be, but there are no batteries to replace and not much to go bad, so I bet a long time. There were no instructions with it, so I'm grateful to the reviewer who said to turn timer all the way to 60 minutes first, then back it off to the actual number of minutes you need, to wind the bell spring fully.

Best timer I've ever purchased
I have purchased a couple of these and have recommended them to friends. In the past I've used other digital and analog timers as well using the timer on my phone but nothing beats this one. I use it a lot every day to help me keep track of just about everything (naps, lunch time, breaks, cooking, my son's screen time, etc) . You could rely on your phone but an analog timer for me is still the best way to keep track of time because it is visually very clear how much time you have left.

Works well
Got this because we keep forgetting to turn off hose when watering garden. The sound is gentle but distinct, an ticks while in countdown. Need keep it close by so that you hear it go off, as it’s not going to keep ringing. Can put in your pocket and carry with you! Is magnetic so easily keep on frig. Very sturdy. Instructions tell you to wind all the way to 60 minutes and then back to the time you want to set.

Not a Rolex
Will not stay on a stainless steel refer. Not enough iron in stainless. Painted refer ok. (mild steel-more iron)Very soft ring. Barely loud enough to hear even if your tv is off. You need to wind it up to 59 minutes and then set it back to your time needed. Otherwise the ring sound is too short. It’s a $10 timer made in China. It's a throw-a-way. What were you hoping for? A Rolex?

Great for use with kids and plenty loud
I don’t know why the other reviews say that this is so quiet. It’s fairly loud and perfect for a timeout timer 😄 My one and three year old have even played with it and it hasn’t broken.

As seen in my kitchen
Very accurate. Pro tip - turn it all the way to 60 then turn it back to your desired time for the loudest ring.

The alarm is not good as AD
The alarm is not good as AD, sound level is very low especially at short time, such as under 15 minutes.

Expensive for nothing.
Don’t buy this. It ring one time and after never ring again went the timer was done. The magnet felt after 2 weeks. I don’t recommend it. Look for something else.
