Nordic Ware Madeleine Pan

I didn't experience the problem with sticking that was mentioned in another review. The molds are a little shallow (all 16 were filled with a recipe for 12 regular sized Madeleines) and I miscalculated filling so I had some spreading, but even that didn't stick - including when the cakes were still hot from the oven and easy to tear. Overall I like this pan. The 4 stars only is because there is no color choice and the pan that arrived was blue. I'd prefer if they let you choose color or at least mention that the image may not be accurate on coloring. But overall it's a cooking pan and not a decorative piece so I'm satisfied.

My kids love the Madeleine cakes/cookies, so when I saw this pan on Amazon, I just knew I had to get it. Nordic Ware is my usual go to, and it sure did not fail me. The pan is sturdy and well made, and with adequate spraying with baking spray, it remained non-stick. Cleans up pretty easy. I've used it twice already, and each time it helped bake the cakes evenly.

I'm disappointed with the end result. The pan shows ridges but once baked my Madelines don't have them they slightly resemble a shell. The clean up is easy but will have to toss this in the doomed bakeware drawer.

This pan seems fine initially, but after using it only twice, I noticed paint coming off of the cooking surface. Washing it by hand starts to take off more paint. It's probably not a good idea to keep using it, since I don't know what material is getting into my food. I considered returning it, but it has been too long since I purchased the item.

Despite the fact that this is touted as a non stick pan, I prepped the pan prior to baking to ensure easy release of the madeleines. Every one of them stuck so badly none were removed intact. I changed to a silicone pan and have had no problems with it at all.

Disappointed in this pan. I followed the directions and my cookies still stuck to the pan.

You can never go wrong with Nordic Ware.

Just received the pan today. Unlike the usual Nordic Ware pans which I have bought, this appears to be a fake product. Picture shown is of 16 mouulds. Cover says 12 moulds. Am thinking of returning it. Do not buy. The 2nd picture on the right is the way it should be. See the picture on the extreme left. The symbol of Nordicware is also fake. The 2nd photo from left says it makes 12 cakes when there are 16 in the pan. The colour is Orange when it should be red. Checked on website too.

I do not know if I’m the only one, but I received a striped and curved plate (see photos) my madeleines hang and after the first cooking the plate is already tinted ... I do not recommend this product.
