First impressions Attaches easily to the lower lens of the IPhone 12 Pro Max’ three lens setup. Needs an iPhone case with a 17mm mount to hold it in place. Comes with a nice zippered storage case, lens cloth, and USB charging cable. Since it is fixed focus, you need to get right on top of whatever you are photographing and the iPhone lens zoom setting that it works with has an effective range of 1x to 2.4x. Going beyond 2.4 or less than 1x triggers the use of the iPhone’s other lenses and does not work with the Neweer lens’ position over lens number two. It should work fairly well on micro mineral specimens that have been trimmed down to a relatively flat surface area—it will not focus down into vugs however and the interaction between it and the iPhones focusing lag takes some getting used to. The built in light ring has two illuminating settings and works well. It was on sale over the holidays for under $35. A bargain for exploring the often unseen feature of your micro minerals! especially if you cannot yet afford a digital or binocular/trinocular microscope

Review for 45X version. Very good microscopic lens, however the subject must be centered flat against the edge. Any minute amount of space will bring the subject out of focus. If focus stacking insects, you will need the insect to pass through the middle of the lens opening. Because the actual lens is offset a little, it is possible to focus stack very small subjects like ants, but they must be propped somehow to be able to be up against the edge of the lens. This is very hard to do with live subjects. Focus stacking software will be required for the best picture of any object that is not flat. At least an inch of distance would have been more ideal. . This cage does not work with the camera features on any of the Neewer lens and the cage. Iphone will not use the camera with the lens attachment. I have purchase 3 lens, 2 telephoto type lens, the microscope, and the do not work with the phone.

I purchased this Neewer 45X lens to use with the NEEWER Pixel 8 Pro Phone Cage which provides a number of plates that push into the cage over the Pixel 8 Pro camera lenses. This allows the use of various lenses specifically designed for cell phone camera lens enhancement. The Neewer 45X lens has 17mm threads that can use the spot over the primary 50MP lens on the Pixel 8 Pro. I like the macro lens on the Pixel 8 Pro, but it cannot provide microscopic imagery like this Neewer lens. And be aware that the Neewer is definitely not a macro lens, you have to put the lens right on top of whatever you are photographing. Light is provided by a high or low setting ring light around the lens itself. Charging is USB-C. I think it takes fantastic photographs, and when you start looking for things to take pictures of it is always amazing what you can see in common items. For me, I started taking photos of clothing and carpet fibers and fabrics. I love this lens. It provides a whole new way to use my cell phone camera.

I’ve been having a lot of fun with the Neewer LS-32 so far! It’s a cool little tool and has been surprisingly easy to use right out of the box. I haven’t fully mastered it yet, but that’s part of the fun—I’m still learning and experimenting with it. The magnification is impressive for something this compact, and the built-in light really helps bring out details. I can see a lot of creative possibilities with this, and I’m excited to keep exploring what it can do. Definitely worth picking up if you’re curious about the microscopic world!

Do you need a microscope in your pocket? This is exactly that. I was shocked at the detail it captures. Paired with my phone that has large number of megapixels (like 200 in this case) you can capture a picture of fingerprints so detailed, you can see them like canyons! Truly incredible. Be prepared to press it flat against what you are photographing however.

I got this just for fun as it serves no practical purpose for me but it's very cool! I've gotten some cool shots of rocks as well as hair from people and animals.

This micro lens is essentially a microscope for your Iphone. It has such a close focusing distance it only works if the lens is pressed up against the object. This will hinder how often your can use this lens in a lot of scenarios. That is also this lens's best feature. Because it is so unique in the perspective that it offers though few use cases you can use it for are really phenomenal. The images are super sharp and well lit due to the built in led light which has two brightness settings. It can give you that clinical hospital light look so watch out for that but for the most part it's not too bad. The lens has okay build quality it's made of mostly plastic with the exception of the glass elements. This material also makes the lens super lightweight and easy to store. Overall its a fun little tool to add a feature to the Iphone camera that isn't otherwise there currently. Is it perfect? No not by any means but when you need a super close up shot this is going to nail it every time.

Es un microscopio que aumenta la imagen de manera muy significativa, ademas la ilumina gracias a unas luces led que tienen diferentes intensidades. Esta pensado para roscarlo en una funda, y aunque yo no tengo dicha funda puedo utilizarlo simplemente acercando la lente al microscopio. Aunque lo veo un gadget original, no creo que sea para la mayoria del publico, pero si estas buscando fotografias de buena calidad de cosas diminutas este microscopio te puede valer.

Bastante nítido sabiendo colocarlo, utilizar rig para que tenga la menor distancia entre la montura y el lente de la camara

Man kann den Ring, der zur Beleuchtung dient, somit direkt aufladen. Der Vorteil liegt auf der Hand, das iPhone kann nun die beste Kamera für extreme Nahaufnahmen nutzen. Der qualitative Gewinn an Bildqualität hat mich überzeugt.
