How does it fit at the headboard end where there are 2 screws for headboard to slot on to

You will have to cut two small holes for the headboard. I ordered the superking size and it did not come with strings to tighten as advertised so it will need tacked to hold in place.

How does this fit round where the headboard is attached to the base? Have you got to make a hole in it?

my headboard is freestanding so I didn't have that problem. This cover is very nice and good value. Sorry I couldn't help more
