Fits 35 Classic engine perfectly
I bought this fuel cap to replace the original on my McCulloch lawnmower with 35 Classic Briggs & Stratton engine. It fits perfectly and I’m very pleased. Exactly as pictured. Fast dispatch and delivery too. Thank you to the seller!

Doesn’t fit a B&S 500 Series
Purchased this fuel cap as advertised as fitting a Briggs &Stratton 500 series - but it doesn’t ! I have a B&S 500 Series engine on a Masport lawn mower and would say the diameter of the fuel filler is about 40mm but the one I purchased is nearer 36 or 37mm.

Check if you've got a Briggs & Stratton 450 E
I bought this fuel cap to replace one that has been lost in my garden. Clearly, this is something to replace as quickly as possible.The description says that it is suitable for 450 models and mine is a 450 E.Although the delivery was quick, the cap is TOO SMALL for my lawn mower.Please check before you buy that it will fit.I went on to buy a Briggs & Stratton Genuine 692046 Fuel Cap. This looks like the lost one and fits perfectly.It also came postage free and next day, unlike this one.Simply, I wish I'd gone for the 692046 first and wasn't writing this review.I hope it helps at least one of you out there.

Doesn't Fit
It was claimed to be suitable for a Briggs & Stratton 500E engine - but it is too small. Although the lawnmower is only 4 years old - can't seem to get one to fit. I've cured the problem by getting (cheaper!) "AA" universal fit thing.

This cap does NOT fit a 450e motor despite the packaging saying it is for the 450 series of mowers.
Can I return and get a refund ? Obviously the packaging has been opened.

Le bouchon est fait pour les anciens moteurs et donc pas adapté pour la nouvelle générationSi vous avez perdu, comme moi votre bouchon je vous conseille de vous rendre dans un magasin qui vend des accessoires de pêche tel que Decathlon et acheter un bouchon de canne à pêche de diamètre 41 mm ou de faire cette recherche sur Amazon, et même mieux vous achetez un bouchon d'essence universel pour voiture

He tenido que solicitar la devolución del producto porque no cumple con lo especificado, ya que no es válido para la serie 550 de Briggs & Stratton.Es un tapón de gasolina demasiado pequeño y su tamaño no corresponde para nada con el de la serie 550.Por favor tened en cuenta este hecho antes de decidirse a comprar.Los vendedores deberían indicar las dimensiones reales del producto y así todos evitaríamos malos entendidos.
