Review: Small But Mighty - This box is a bit of a unicorn: reasonably-priced, small enough to fit on a non-SUV, and fairly spacious inside. I’ve put a couple thousand miles in now with this bad boy on top and really the only minor complaint i have is that it isn’t ambidextrous—you can only access the box from the passenger side. That’s not a big deal but it would be nice to have the flexibility. It did great in the rain and is near-waterproof. I’ve left gear in it for an extended period of time and had no issues except for having to replace the shock cord in a tent pole set because it fried in the Texas heat—that would have happened in any box and is user error rather than a product issue. It definitely makes some noise on the highway but it isn’t terrible, I just turn the music up a little louder. No rattling or whistling, just some extra wind noise. It’s extremely lightweight and easy to install/remove. I live in an apartment with no garage and can easily install or remove it myself and store it in my closet when necessary. The box also fits in the back of my station wagon if i’m ever parked somewhere and feel like I need a little extra security. All in all I definitely recommend this box, especially if you’re limited on the amount of rack space available to you.

The locking feature seems to work well but as with any roof box I feel like a determined thief would be able to get in using enough force. Installation: Installation was fairly straight forward, the instructions were simple but adequate. I spent a little over a half hour on the initial installation including measuring the box so it was perfectly centered (because I'm that guy). It was easy enough to lift on top of the truck by myself. I imagine that subsequent removals and installation will be quicker now that the cross bars are where they need to be. The roof box uses a squared u-bolt system with backing plates the only difficulty I had was connecting the u-bolts on the hinge side of the lid by myself, a second set of hands would have been helpful. The backing plates also housed the tie down points so that your tie down straps inside will be about where your roof racks are. The u-bolts fit around my Thule Aerobars. They do fit the thicker bar but there is a fair amount of room forward and behind the u-bolt a strap system would be better. Driving with the box installed: After several months of driving with the box installed I haven't noticed any difference in driving on the highway or around town. If there is any noise it is minimal. I do have all terrain tires that increase road noise a bit so your results may vary on a smaller car with a quieter cabin. I've had this mounted during several significant rain storms and my contents have stayed dry throughout All and all I am happy with this purchase. The size is right for me, the cost reasonable, and the initial quality is there. If you're more concerned with function than showing off that Thule or Yakima label I think you'd be happy with this item. I hope this review is helpful.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am happy with this Inno cargo box!

It works for me. The hinges are plastic. But it seems to attach secure and it is what I needed for extra cargo/camping gear. I feel it is nicer than a bag that sits on the car roof. It’s solid and looks great on my 07 Honda Pilot. I am very happy with this Inno cargo box.
