Carry on Screaming [Blu-ray] [1966]

Carry on goes Hammer Horror!! Fantastic spoof on the horror films what a cast to die for Kenneth Williams,the late great Miss Fenella Fielding who by the way is included on the commentary track of the Blu Ray along with Angela Douglas and hosted by Carry on expert Robert Ross this is a very informative track lots of info on the films production Miss Fielding is so funny thank God she agreed to join in with this commentary track its a gem! Harry H Corbett is superb,Jim Dale,Charles Hawtrey,Jon Pertwee the film looks super in HD a Carry On GEM!! Mark ex Cinema Projectionist,Wallasey,Merseyside. 26/11/18.

My favourite Carry On film, mainly due to Fenella Fielding's brilliant comic role. It satisfies my love of Victorian London, monsters, scary and spooky houses and old movies. It is brilliant.

I thought I would see what a Carry on film was like on Blu Ray, always a bit skeptical when I have seen other films transferred.Carry on Screaming is good and brings out a lot more detail than just the ordinary DVD. The faces are a little washed out but I think thats to do with seeing the film so many times on DVD and TV. The aspect ratio is 1:66:1 as it was originally filmed in.I just hope they would do all the same with the other Carry on films. Worth a purchase if you are a Carry on Fan.

The transfer of the print on this blu-ray is everything you can wish for (red is a tad saturated) making this classic Carry-On a joy to look at. The Yak-Track is informative but a bit 'luvvy' as the Fenella Fielding goes off on theatrical tangents at the slightest opportunity. The 2.0 soundtrack sounds as good as you can expect with the vocal skills of Kenneth Williams and Co. faithfully delivered.

Just my opinion but the best Carry On film. I got this dvd to esp see gorgeous Fenella Fielding, as i had a made to measure copy of the fantastic red dress to wear for Halloween !!!! Can't go wrong when buying a Carry On movie - always timeless fun !!!

One of my favourite Carry On movies, scared the beejesus out of me as a kid, it's the Carry On team spoofing The Hammer horror movies and I think they've actually surpassed them. The Blu-ray restoration is beautiful such clear vivid colours,best this movie has ever looked, well done Studio Canal.Delivery was quick and reliable by Amazon.Thank you.

This has always been up there in my Top Ten most loved Carry On films. Great acting from a gold class of popular British actors with good sound and picture quality too - obviously no need to remaster as it was originally shot in high calibre.The Blue Ray does it justice and looks as sharp as some modern films, on today’s big screen TV’s.Very pleased with purchase... very pleased with the price! Delivered with lightening speed from Amazon.

You'll love or hate it - basic, bawdy, funny one liners - My old Dad is in his 80's so I stick to simple watching, and even I have a chuckle, the guys embarrass themselves as much as the girls and its interesting how the world has changed. Not for the those without a bawdy sense of humour - its history of TV really. - Take it with a pinch of salt and if easily offended don't watch - Honestly, this isn't one of the best ones they were running out of ideas. (and the stars were dropping by then)
