The vacuum cleaner is well made. It does a great job on bare floors and carpets. Not too loud. Gets everything. My parents had a Kirby when I was a kid, Another American Made Vacuum Cleaner, and that was amazing, but that thing was a beast. This is very light so it's easy to take around to where I need to clean. Well Made, Great Value, Great Vacuum! Would buy it again but I doubt I will have to.

They make nothing like they used to including this Oreck. I had my original Oreck for 15 years before it played out. The new one just doesn’t measure up. The wheel fell off the first time I used it so I returned it and repurchased it. The wheels squeak! It cleans OK but I doubt it lasts longer than a few years. Just not the quality of my original Oreck.

I bought this vacuum because it has a bag and it is light weight. It is easy for me to handle and does a great job. A bonus is the one inch brush on either side to keep from hitting the baseboards!

Purchased in 10/21. Handle broke off rendering vacuum useless. I vacuum daily for about 10 or 15 minutes so this vacuum has not be abused. Contacted Oreck and they say this site is NOT an authorized Oreck dealer...so buyer beware. Oreck warranty is not valid if you purchase from this site. A $400.00 VACUUM SHOULD LAST MORE THAN JUST OVER A YEAR!!! There are no Oreck vacuum dealers in my area and Oreck refuses to give me replacement handle or even information to be able to purchase the part on my own. Will now file a claim with Maine Attorney General to include this site as well as Oreck...something is very wrong here.

There are three actions needed for a vacuum cleaner to work. Agitation, suction, and air flow. This vacuum has all three. I only gave it four stars on maneuverability because it does not have a swivel. It is quiet compared to most other vacuums. But not as quiet as a Miele.

We had an Oreck previously but when Oreck moved out of Paramus, we decided to try a Hoover. Big mistake! We could only put up with it for 9 months and couldn't stand it any longer. Went back to Oreck and are thrilled. Not enough superlatives. The only minor problem so far (1 month) is the handle which tightens with a twist lock, has come loose twice, but this time we think we tightened it properly. Just wish Oreck would come back to Paramus, NJ.

Cheaply made, got tired of fixing plastic handle, will never buy again. Company has gone down hill.
