An nice sturdy blade for the price.
I still can't believe that I bought this D2 steel knife for $23.59. Amazon delivered a multiple item package that was missing this knife, even though the invoice said it had been delivered with everything else. But Amazon made good on it. I can’t find anything wrong with the knife, and I looked. I’m a hands-on person that frequently needs to use a blade. And I don’t hesitate to write critical reviews when I’m not pleased with products. The Flissa came sharp enough to shave the hair off my arm. It has the Scandi blade grind. The blade is thick, with a steep narrow grind so it breaks open carrots, apples, etc, rather than slicing through them like a thinner blade with a flatter grind. The grind is remarkably symmetrical right out to the tip. The blade is polished nicely. The handle sides and handle steel were not ground as an assembled unit for a perfect fit, but the handle pieces fit very well none-the-less. The leather sheath fits the knife snugly, and does a good job of holding the knife down inside. The leather sheath hangs well on my belt, and the leather is flexible enough to bend out of the way when it encounters a chair or truck seat. The handle is just wide enough for my hand that wears a Men’s size Large glove. The quality of the knife is outstanding for the price. I will make good use of it without needing to worry about damaging an expensive knife. The weakness of this review is that I haven’t put the knife to rugged use yet. I may be a bit premature here with the positive accolades, but it accurately reflects my first impression of this blade. - - update after about 2 months. I put this blade through some (abusive) use, scraping paint off old stucco, scraping rust off of a wheel barrow that I rebuilt, removing small limbs in the yard, etc. The harsh work roughed up the blade edge to where it was easily visible. I was surprised how D2 edge rolled and chipped (very small micro-chips) from the rough use. I think I'd read something that lead me to believe that D2 was more indistructable. But the edge also take a new edge just fine. In fact, I was surprised how easy it honed to a new sharp edge just using a medium stone hone followed by a fine diamond hone. I'd also read that D2 was hard to sharpen. Not the case here. It may be that the tempering is a factor with how D2 performs. This D2 is a utilitarian steel suited for harsh use and resharpening. It doesn't have the edge retention of some of the newer, more expensive steels.

Budget Survival / Bushcraft
This Flissa hunting knife is a relatively small knife with 4.25" D2 steel blade, it features a scandi grind preferred for Bushcraft work. The knife is very well made considering its modest price, the blade is chunky with a 3.8mm thick full tang blade. The handle has tough G-10 scales with two lanyard holes. A leather sheath with retaining strap and press stud closure is provided for sure carry. This is a really great mini-survival knife as I can not see this blade failing even under hard use, its a sharpened pry bar. My knife came out the box shaving sharp, and to keep it that way I would suggest a fine ceramic rod for honing. I have big hands and find the handle comfortable with no obvious hot spots. Be aware that D2 is stain resistant but not a Stainless Steel so clean regularly with a drop of oil.

A high quality blade for almost nothing
Hands down an excellent knife for the money and a really solid knife overall. Zero-grind / Scandinavian grind, chunky piece of D2, comfortable handle scales for.my XL size.glove hands. My knife did come with a small amount of oxidization on the cutting edge but, a little clean up and use took care of that. The sheath isn't premium leather but it will still give you good longevity. This knife is a steal for the budget bushcrafter. A really excellent knife for less than $20 at the time of this review.

Solid knife at a bargain price
The knife is solid! The blade is thick and sharp out of the box. I don't know if it's really D2 steel. I used it to baton some firewood and it held up. The sheath is pretty much junk but for $20 I would buy it again.

Heavy Duty knife. A bargain
Well, I sure did not need another knife, but i liked the look of rgis blade. Ive spent more money on coffee and a pastry treat then this knife. When it arrived I was surprised at its edge and thick blade. So here's my review, excellent grip heavy blade. A mora knife is not junk by any means and I have a few. Im old enough to recognize marketing trends, people watch online videos of fella batoning a small piece of wood and are amazed. I can split any log with a wood wedge. But ill never gamble my life or my families safety on a 4 inch thin blade. I keep a mora in my rucksack for food prep and or cleaning fish and such. Im also not into batoning wood with a thin blade. I can find plenty of dead standing kindling. This Flissa knife is capable of any realistic woods adventure. I live off grid in Alaska and my carry sheath knife is a Cold Steel Trailmaster. It will do anything a hatchet will so. And far safer. I am impressed with the Flissa, of course you can always find better with ANY purchase. However I believe the average woods walker will find this knife a great purchase, and be confident in its durability.

A well made knife at a very reasonable price.
The pros about this knife, it feels very sturdy and has some weight to it, also it fits very comfortably in the hand. The sheath is well made and holds the knife perfectly.

Solid knife
I like the saber grind and the blades is thick and sturdy. Mine came razor sharp, I got the G10 scales. It’s like the little brother of the Ka-Bar BK 2 and less than 1/4 of the price of the BK 16 Excellent quality, especially for $20 Even the sheath is nice. This knife is more heavy duty than the Mora and has a full tang. Aside from the lanyard hole being a little small, I can’t find anything that I don’t like about it. It’s one of those rare items where you get more than you pay for, I have a lot of quality knives, this is one I recommend to my friends, a few have bought it and are also very happy with the quality and price. You won’t be disappointed.

A total beast of a knife!
Great factory general-purpose edge and a good thick spine.Throws massive sparks with a Fero rod. The secure sheath is thick, well-sewn, and finished. Comfortable in my big hands, yet still fits my wife's hands as well. I am shocked and amazed at how fantastic this knife is!

商品開封~刃先に錆あり、研いだ後のカエリがそのまま残ってました。 どうせ研ぐので両方とも問題ありません! 使う時が楽しみです。良い商品で、2000円以内で有り得ない! お安く買えたので満足です。

This is a quality product. The grind is perfectly symmetrical. The edge is sharp out of the box. They don't try to say that it is a special steel, but it is D2 and it would seem that the heat treatment is good. The G2 scales are well made and adequate for a large hand. The only criticism that I have, would be that it has no gimping. The leather sheath is high quality and is worth as much as what you pay for the whole knife and sheath. I love it. One last criticism. The blade is good, but to be perfect, you will need to put it to the stone as it has a few spots on the edge which could be taken out.
