Will it work on the Xbox one ?

Since the headset has a 4-pole (left/right/ground/mic) connection, you should be able to just plug it into the controller no issue. I have a pair of HD headphones with only a 3 pole, so I got a v-moda boom bro mic and plugged it into the headphones. From there i just connected it to my controller and party/game chat works fine. Your situation would be the same with a cable. Just remove adding the v-moda and just plug a 4 pole 3.5mm from the headset directly to the controller.

Anyone who has used both the wireless and the gamedac headsets, can you please share your thoughts on the quality of sound between the two?

I don’t know about the wireless headset, but the headset with the DAC is amazing. I bought it for my 17 year old son and he let me try his. I was so impressed that I went from thinking it was so expensive to it was worth every penny. I absolutely love the quality of sound and am very glad I bought it for my son. He deserves the best. Can i use this with my ps4 and xbox without having to switch anything out? is the transition from ps4 to xbox one pretty seamless?

If your TV has an fiber optic audio output yes you can use it for both the Ps4 and the xbox, you'll have to connect the provided USB cable to the Ps4 and you'll have wireless chat with that, you still need a headphone jack adapter to use the chat for the xbox, as far as I know there is no wireless chat available as of now for the xbox, only wireless audio! Overall it's a great headphone, the audio is great and there is no audio skipping or lagging at all! I use it for both the ps4 and the xbox

I have a a50 gen 2. should i get this or gen3?

I just swapped out my gen3s for these. Hands down these sound better. The a50s are more comfortable and the flip down mic feels nicer...but these absolutely sound better and have longer battery life.
