I got this for my Grandma. She says that it smells good and is good use for her body. She said that it was too thick for her face and made her get a pimple or two so recommend only for body use.

Kojic acid and Papaya skin lighting
The lotion is not readily absorbed into the skin. It left a visible white residue on my brown skin. It smells medicine-like, not the fresh papaya scent I was expecting. It does appear to be working. My right arm is so dark from all the sun it’s exposed to,so I will need more time to tell. I like the fact it has the SP protection.

Very thick and hard to spread on skin
The pump is defective, I have to completely open the jar to get some of the lotion which is actually very thick. It is challenging to spread on the skin.

The Pump Bottle is Useless, Other Than That, Great Sunscreen.

It does its job as a sun protector, however, I haven't seen any skin lightening effects (will update if I see any results). I will say that the sunscreen leaves behind a thin dusting of white powder that nicely absorbs into your skin. It will wash off with sweat and water and when it does it leaves an orange mark on your towels (so be careful of that). Because of this, also recommend the product for people with medium to lighter skin since the lotion will leave a light white coat. (It's barely visible on me, and I'm lightly tanned). It just looks like I have a light foundation on my skin. I will continue to use this product until I finish it, but I will probably invest in making my own sunscreen in the future. Overall, it is still better than some of the other greasy, smelly sunscreens on the market.

Mild, pleasant scent. Evens out and brightens skin tone.
The product is on the thick side, so if it may need to be stirred around a bit before it comes out of the nozzle, but that is much preferable to product which is thin and runny. Faint scent of papaya, pleasant but not too noticeable. Because the lotion is thick, you may need to massage it into your skin to make sure it is absorbed. If your skin is medium brown or darker, it might look chalky after applying if you don’t blend it in well.I love it because it leaves skin soft and supple. Being one of those people who tan very quickly and darkly, in previous summers I would have had a very noticeable tanline. Even though it is the height of summer and I do spend about half hour in the sun each day, my tanline is not noticeable at all. Very happy with this product!
