SpencoWomen's Sterling Convertible Mule

These shoes are adorable. I like the fact that I can slip right in or use the heel back strap if I want. I need an orthopedic shoe and it is difficult to find cute ones.

Fit was larger than expected. Heel and arch cushion was lacking. Great metatarsal support. Loved the shoe, kind of a lightweight blue suede with the ability to slip down the heel to wear as a slip on mule, although that didn't feel like a comfortable option. I hated to have to return them.

I've always struggled with wide feet and bunions, always have to go to a larger size to get enough width. Not Spenco. Their 8W is fantastic. I've had to do WW and 9.5 or mens shoes to fit. But Spenco sized these just right. I have them in 3 colors now, love that the backs easily drop down so can be worn as a clog. Brought them, new, to recent trip to London, and wore a pair every day, and we walked 12 miles a day, according to the step counter!! Never uncomfortable from day one.

Because of the poor design, as you walk, these shoes will pull your socks down in a matter of minutes. The inside of the heel is kind tacky and and grabs the sock. And if you try to wear them without socks your feet will sweat because the lining is rubber backed. I removed the stitches and took the material out of the heel area and now I can wear them and I like them. They are comfortable and roomy in the toe, but the shoe is rather loose and the foot can slide forward.

My feet are sore every day. I think I have undiagnosed plantar fasciitis. The Spenco shoes was recommended by two friends of mine and I am grateful. They are very comfortable with high arch support. I will definitely be buying another pair.

I usually like Spenco shoes but these are a miss. I liked the color and thought they would be comfortable but NOT. I kept them too long before sending back and now am stuck with a donation to Goodwill.

These work well for my wide feet and provide great support.

I wear a 9.5 to ten depending on the style of shoe. It was very loose. It did have excellent arch sopport.
