The Flush Mount is designed for you to recess the mount into the table for a completely flush table top after installation. If that is not desired or possible, the spacer allows there to be room for the top plate tongue to engage and hold the press in place. - Mounting of either the Single QC Dock or Double QC Dock must be done with screws, bolts, wall fasteners appropriate to hold the weight of the press that will be attached.
