Clairol Root Touch-Up by Nice'n Easy Permanent Hair Dye, Extra Lift Hair Color, Pack of 1

Superior touch up for my natural dark blonde/grey hair. Outstanding brush which is bent at an angle and has a thick row of brush. It gets a good amount of product directly and precisely to touch up areas. Color result including grey coverage good. I added 5 drops of purple toning to cut brass. Afterwards, deep conditioned and did not wash for 3 days. My hair is very long and baby fine.

I'd say that Clairol Root Touch Up is the best root color available outside of a salon. I've used this in Extra-Lift a couple times now and it's a perfect match for my level 10 bleach blonde hair. My natural color is a dark medium blonde with some grey, not too dark but against very light blonde highlights the roots will show as kind of a mousy color. This works easily and blends perfectly with my hair color. I didn't take a before pic, but added an after to show how seamless the root to rest of the hair color is. There's plenty in the package to tackle my roots and around my hairline. Keep my roots fresh in between coloring/visits to the salon. It's not too smelly while it's processing. Would recommend.

This color kit was extremely easy to apply, and the color matched my hair perfectly. I would definitely recommend for blondes who are looking for an easy touch-up between professional coloring!

I am not overly impressed with this product but it does have some good and bad. Pros: - Its not harsh like bleach. This is my most important thing. - It colored my darker roots to blend in better with my surrounding hair color - Quick and easy to apply. The brush makes easier to separate hair. - Doesn't smell strong like bleach Cons: - Not enough product to apply to my entire head. Maybe I put it on too think but I only had enough to do the top part of me head, not the back. -It didnt take the brassy orange color out from my previous bleaching with Clariol Root Cover up. But my coverage could have been too light on that area. Once again adding to not having enough product. Overall I would buy this product again, but I would need to buy 2 boxes to cover more area. Its cheap enough and easy enough to try again and see if I can get better results.

I have light brown hair with a LOT of grey. I use 2 boxes of this color on my roots every 2 weeks. After I've applied to the roots I use a very large toothed comb to pull the color down the shaft of my hair to the tips to create streaking effect. People compliment on how they love it and want to know who does my color. They are shocked that I do it myself. I use blue shampoo and conditioner once a week to curb the brassiness. I've bought this product 18 times.

If you are doing white roots, the color is nice but washes out in about two washes so I still have to go to the salon.
