I initially took it for granted to install the buckles and straps, and like some people in the comments, I found it very slippery, and the buckle couldn't be fixed at all. Later, I carefully read the product description and found the installation instructions. It turns out that the pointed end of the buckle needs to be inserted into the gap of the original handle of the bag. I have attached an installation diagram, and it is very stable after installation. My own Longchamp is a large bag, and it can hold it even so, very good and I like it very much, the quality is good.

Good quality leather; matches color of longchamp bag. Trying to put the loops together took a needle nose piler to pull the leather over the buttons. Not easy. Once fasten the loops and strap, it immediately came loose. If you're a heavy packer, this will not hold up at all. Maybe consider taking the strap to a shoe/leather shop and have grommets installed but then that defeats the purpose and the beauty of a longchamp bag. Unfortunately, having to return this item.

Perfect for small le pliage bag.

I have a small Longchamp Pliage Original. By the pics, it seems like these straps should work, but they don’t. It was incredibly hard to snap on the 1st part (has the hook for the crossbody strap). The hole ripped before I even got the small strap totally snapped on. If it’s already ripping, I figured I should just return it before it gets worse. Maybe this would work on a mini, but definitely not a small one.

I like this strap. It complements the original handle’s color and stitches. One downside is that there is no instruction. I had to look at other products’ instructions to learn how to install. It is also very tight to install, but I guess it is meant to be tight for extra security. Overall, it fits well with my bag.

Last month I bought the '2025' small strap for my xtra small Longchamp bag & it fits great as crossbody so I bought the small Longchamp bag so that I can buy the strap to go with it. I just received it today & tried it on. I love to wear my bags crossbody so I set it on the last hole but my bag sits on my hips & its handles were right under my armpits (I'm 5' & 170# for reference).Also the '2025' small strap for the xtra small Longchamp bag have gold tips on the hooks but the ones for the small bags don't. Granted the seller also included an extra set of hooks but I don't like those but I wish the strap were a bit longer.
