The size matters! This journal is not only gorgeous, it fits in a purse, tote or anything else you carry around, well maybe not a fanny pack but you could make it work. The fact that it is refillable, easy to write in, quality to be sure and it is so beautifully made its an eye catcher. I love the strap with the ship to make sure it is closed and won't open ruining pages.There are also extras! You have a zippered compartment for items you want to keep on hand and a card holder page that holds 3 or 6 cards.You can move these around to suit your needs as the there are 6 rings to secure this notebook.The paper is defintely a plus! It is not your standard notebook paper but heavy enough to place in containers for future reference, as it will hold up over time... and its Refillable!!! Add pages, remove pages, you can add dividers if you choose.Overall, I am so pleased with this journal keeper! I'm sure for the average journal keeper, you won't be disappointed unless you want something larger, for me its perfect ♥

I bought this to keep TTRPG/ gaming notes in. I'm the kind of person who is afraid of 'ruining' notebooks, as silly as that is, so i really really love the removable and replaceable pages. I went ahead and bought a replacement batch with the journal as well. I dont know what ill use the plastic page for yet, but i like pockets, so ill find something to do with it. The notebook seems pretty sturdy and the paper feels nice. the Brown-tone paper's easy on the eyes as well.I purchased this while it was on sale for $4, which is an incredible value. If you can catch one of these on sale for cheap, definitely grab yourself one.

I’ve bought something similar before and got burned. That one was way smaller and it wasn’t quality materials, so it felt really cheap. This one is amazing! I took a chance and this is such a high quality product! It’s the perfect size, too. I bought it for my research diary, as I work on my applied project for my Masters. The amount of paper that came with it is exactly what I expect to need, but I’m also pleased to find I can add some more if it isn’t. I’m very tempted to buy another for personal use. Cheap notepads are easy but you’re worth better, and this really doesn’t cost that much. Skip the ones that are priced double what this one is; I’m very glad I did!

Having just finished reading The Dawn Treader (Chronicles of Narnia) and seeing this journal, I knew I "needed" it! The deep green is rich and while a bit stiff now, will no doubt age and soften nicely with use. The engraved image of a ship on the cover is beautifully done and the charm used to help close it adds just the right touch. The plastic inserts are great for having various art supplies on hand when I'm on the go. The option to change out or add other paper choices is a plus for me. The quality, various design choices and great price makes this journal a treasure chest waiting to be found.

I have a lot of experience with journals. This one stands a bit above par.The things I like:1. The color. Gorgeous! Also, the design on the front. I especially like that the flap can overlap without covering the design, because the design is on the flap, too! I like that attention to detail.2. The leather doesn't scar easily. I've had journals where all you have to do is brush your fingernail against the leather and it shows forever. This one doesn't do that (though, I haven't intentionally tried to scar it, either).3. College-ruled lines. I like getting the most out of my page space.4. Pockets. What girl doesn't like pockets? I personally don't use stickers, etc., but if you do, there's pockets for you!Things that could be improved:1. The pages are a bit dark. I journal in pencil, and I can't see my writing very easily.2. No bookmark.3. There aren't as many pages as I would like. On the upside, though, the rings are exposed like a binder, so theoretically I could get refills.4. It doesn't sit open by itself. I personally hold it in my lap while journaling, so this isn't an issue for me. But I know some people care about that, so I thought I'd mention it.All in all, I'm very happy with this journal. I love the design! It makes me happy.

I love these journals for junk journalling, sturdy, allows for overflow and the leather strap closure gives it class. I have used over seven and every one of them are perfect for my needs. I recommend these journals for everything from bookmaking to journals to diaries. I'm getting creative and am using one to create a phone, address, password, and emergency contacts book, personalize just for what I need. Can't say enough good things about this buy.

I ordered this as a theater and graduation gift for a friend’s son, and it is just perfect! Graduating seniors are going out into the world and perhaps on many travels in the coming years, and this sturdy faux leather journal with thick old style paper and leather binding wrap with charm is very beautiful. Just the right size, not too big, but also not so small that you can’t get a lot of use out of it. Just what I needed!
