It's orange. An expensive ballpoint at over £200, but well worth it. It is precisely made and oozes quality. Parker at their best. I've used it for months now and it's a joy to use.

Vintage design and colour combined with todays materials and manufacturing standards. Very fine pen! The Amazon price (a little below UKP 100) was unparallelled.

I bought this as a gift for my dad. Does not feel like a ‘luxurious gift experience’ due to the cheapo looking case it comes with. It’s not the nice one pictured or described (which does look great) but a much smaller case, with no leaflet. There’s also no refill, which is also described. If it’s just the pen you’re after, this may not bother you. But let’s be real: part of buying higher end products is the whole packaging of it. I’d be equally annoyed to buy a bottle of Champagne and have it arrive in a Blue Nun or Ernest Gallo bottle. Debating whether to give to my dad or send back.

If you want the very highest build standards, this has to be on your list. Flawless.

I have the fountain pen and now I have the complete set.

First of all the pen comes in an elegant box with the Queens and Prince of Wales warrant on the side. Once you open it the pen is displayed with a description of Parkers history and the quality of the Dunfold pen. The pen is beautiful and has a perfect weight to it, you can tell that it has been crafted with class and style. The action to reveal the nib is smooth by turning the top of the pen. The nib its self is 18 carat solid gold and has a beautiful writing quality. It is so nice to write with. I found I enjoyed write cards and letters with it. This pen is all about quality and it feels like it.

The pen is well balanced and feels good, not too heavy, that I could write all day with it. Great pen! The quality of the materials is very good, Resin barrel, Palladium Plate etc., with a two year warranty. I have in my pen collection Parker Premier's slightly less cost , slightly better quality, I think. Overall, this is a beautiful pen, but, I think the pen, in my opinion, is not worth more than around $250 and the Parker Duofold Fountain version $350. ( Gold and special versions more for both.) These are considered excellent pens, but I think the prices asked, is what the downfall is for the "Parker Duofold Collections" and is why my rating is average. This is just my own opinion, as a pen collector, having many high end models.

万年筆は好きで、146、M800ほか、楽しんでいますが、ボールペンは貰い物の164、タルガを使ってました。ところが、文具店のショーケースにある筆記具が、通りすがりに目にとまり、釘付けになりました。それがパーカーのデュオフォールドのボールペンでした。合わせて奥に万年筆もあったのですが、ボールペンのデザインに強く惹かれました。デュオフォールドのことを知らなかったのですが、ボールペンのデザインに一目ぼれでした。書き味は純正のものでも、すばらしいのですが、ジェットストリームの0.7mmに替えて使ってます。油性らしくないところがいいですね。また、純正に戻っても、それもありかと思います。
